Vigilantes updated again and we have another Pro Hero from a past arc reappearing along with Koichi developing a new aspect of his Quirk.

Things just aren't the same without Knuckle Duster. I wish they had at least told us if his wife survived instead of keeping it vague. We don't know if he got the "normal ending" or "good ending".

Yeah, I kind of agree there. But mostly I think its lost its direction, or are being slow to build up to the next one. We know that someone is mutating people to use higher doses of Trigger, but we're drifting to focus on Pop Step's career and Koichi himself is proving a bit ineffective as a vigilante.

I pretty sure it's intentional. Without Knuckleduster to guide him anymore, Koichi has to find his own path of vigilantism. On his own, it makes sense that he'd be pretty lost and directionless.

I thought it was a nice change of air actually. Now Koichi has to fend for himself, he will need more responsibility and more allies. And I still don't get it why people like Knuckle Duster that much

If you don't like him then you just don't. Simple as that. No need to worry about it, but for a lot of us he rounded out the trio and had the most investment in the group as well as the knowledge on how to approach their problems. He was the storied veteran, whereas Koichi has been growing but doesn't have nearly as much appeal. He'd probably be better off as Pop's Manager full time, or going to work with Ingenium, because he's not really stepping in to fill in those big shoes Knuckle Duster left behind when we still have to figure out the mystery behind Trigger mutations.

So the new chapter just came out. The chapter is interesting, it make the use of Trigger in canon more clearly now, so aparently there is a type of Trigger that don't make the user go beserk like the ones we saw in canon.

Yeah, they use it for helping with balding and apparently the other kind is laced with uppers.

He's basically got Hunter Zolomon's power from DC. That is too powerful though, cause it Hunter Zolomon's power allows him to easily rival or even outright overpower the Flash's speed.

Did a bit of catching up. There are some things I like about this new arc like the antagonist being a speedster and Eraser Head being involved, but overall it's kind of a bore.

Aside from the implications of spiking a drink with a drug. The fact that Midnight was the one putting them to sleep instead when their quirks were going out of control just put a small gap in it. And reminded me that half of these people are idiots when you consider that if one of them had a dangerous quirk that could've gone so much worse.

I wonder if Crawler will save CC. He could, if his mom hadn't crippled his quirk. And then, there's the problem of the egg itself. I don't know how they're going to solve that one.

Ok... How? Even if we forget the problems of lifting something massive with just a couple of hands' worth of surface area, All Might can't even fly. So how could he slow down the Egg's fall?

Spoiler: Koichi's power now lets him stick to solid surfaces, including the side of a moving train like he's Spider-man. Then Fatgum shows up and tanks a bullet from some thug and gives them some directions after he saved his Takiyako from falling to the ground. Afterwards, the police officer good with All Might starts getting ready for Pop Steps performance since they're worried about the circulation of drugs. __________________

Twi Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2011	Vigilantes updated. Spoiler: Koichi learns he can use his gliding points to deflect things before getting knocked out. The speedster is reclassified to having his brain also working at superspeed and likely boosted by Trigger, so they seek out what appears to the Flash since they think it might be his child or apprentice responsible. This is later confirmed by the villain himself as Koichi comes up with a new fighting style based on Sumo and learns to air thrust. __________________
