Never played the game but I guess so considering Persona 4 gave the main cast more priority in terms of social links to enhance them in combat.

A bit of Sojiro and Futaba's social links, Ren working part time, some story progression, and they managed to squeeze in a bit of Ann's social link (it wasn't dropped!) and a Kawakami appearance. Pretty good overall.

After thinking about it more, given that there are only six episodes remaining, I think they're going to end this season on the bad ending, then come back for one more cour in winter.

For now, Morgana is a Teddy expy. I like his confidant route though, it's a lot more serious than most of the rest. We also see a bit of Ann's, which is rather half-baked, but I guess it's better than having nothing at all.

Nice adaptation of these social links. I'm a little disappointed they didn't include Ryuuji gawking at Ann in her swimsuit and Ann not being bothered by it.

I agree that there is not enough time to do everything even at a rushed pace now. At this rate the series would end with catching us up to the present interrogation.

Gotta say this was quite a disappointing episode until the mention of the guy's suicide and Morgana's behaviour. It's like they put too much fanservice and some humor that didn't work. At least it seems next episode will return to the more serious side of the plot as that flashforward is getting closer.

I for one was happy with the Kawakami fanservice. They've also made Ryuji and Morgana's spat less annoying compared to the game.

Yeah, the Kawakami fanservice was unnecessary, but then anime can't resist adding fanservice, unfortunately. I kind of wish they had cut out the Hawaii section entirely (or skipped faster), its not one of the more important sections of the game (or that funny, at least compared to the hilarious P4 class trip). Not to mention that they just had Futaba's beach trip one or two episodes ago too. I'm actually a bit glad Mishima suffers a bit less here due to his lesser screen time.

It was nice to see Hifumi and hear her speak finally, but with everything else going on, they're rushing as is. I'm glad they cut out part of Ryuji and Morgana's argument, making it shorter makes it a bit less stupid. Especially with how the rest of the group is feeling uneasy about the whole situation.

Well, we got past the worst part of the game. I didn't think they would spend this much time on it. I feel the anime missed what this was really about too (Ryuji's unhealthy obsession with fame and Morgana fearing he may not be human after all).

I guess the new opening makes it kind of easy to tell who is the traitor based on some shots.

The plot (which kind of felt like Death Note) is finally moving on. Still, it's sad that Ren keeps saying the most obvious lines and still feels blank in contrast to Makoto Yuki and Yu Narukami.

The part of this palace that annoyed me so much lasted all of two seconds in the anime. The whole palace was rushed as hell.

The last two episodes really improved on everything from the usual episodes, aside from the pacing of course. Even the AoA which I thought they ditched was brought back and actually looks good. The added scenes from going to Disneyland was what the anime needed to distinguish itself from the game, even if brief.

Also, Haru's awakening is legit on par with the game's execution, with how the episode showed it.
