Most likely it’ll be a longer gap, a release in March ‘19. We haven’t had a main story volume release in December/January since volume 9 in ‘13.

That's what I was thinking - partially so that Tachibana can help oversee the Anime's development as he did for the first two seasons.

I guess they're going with special 'what if' short stories for all the girls?

So far, we've got Tohka Brave, Kurumi Audition, Kotori Editor, Natsumi Double, Nia House, Mukuro Geisha, and Shiori Spirit. We know some of those will be in Encore 8. So I guess the ones that aren't plus the rest will be in Encore 9 - giving us Nia on the cover.

So Nia's not likely going to be in Season 3, assuming Season 3 is only going to be 12 episodes long? I'd like to see Nia in animated form too, since Miku, Origami, and Nia form the "pervert trio" together. It'd be very interesting to see whom they cast for Nia's JP voice actress too.

Well, Shiro Tsunashima of Jinki and Jinki Extend teamed up with Giga to make a Jinki eroge, did the character art for a BALDR eroge where the main hero and heroine were clearly modeled after his main characters from Jinki, has made an 18+ doujinshi for Jinki, and his latest manga is........similarly explicit.

Assuming s3 is 12 episodes, it’ll cover volumes 8 to 11, so the only way Nia gets in s3 is if it’s 24 episodes. And I don’t see that happening, unfortunately.

What? Short Stories are published in Dragon Magazine before later being collected into the Encore Volumes (although each Encore also usually has a unique story as well).

Mukuro Geisha was published in April of this year, in the Dragon Magazine issue released that month. The illustration for it features Mukuro dressed as a Geisha, with Yoshino and Natsumi on either side of her. That's its only illustration - any other art of Mukuro as a geisha is just fanart.
