I haven't kept up with the manga, but from what I could gleam from some Japanese blogs, the anime covered 5 of the 6 volumes that have been released so far, which means it will take a couple of years before there's enough source material for a second season.

My copy of the soundtrack arrived yesterday, and those English vocal songs are excellent. Rasmus Faber did an amazing job with the music, combining Okinawan themes with jazz elements to create a unique collection of incidental music for Harukana Receive.

Ah, nice.. so you bought the soundtrack. That's nice support for this anime.

I want to do the same too, but unfortunately don't have enough cash to to buy something from this anime after spending money on Miku Hatsune. ><

Props for those who're able to buy OST. The English vocals are great. I like to some of Rasmus' music in youtube which I found a few but where really good. Nice chill music.

I hope this gets 2nd season, it was relaxing to watch and ofc the "fanservice", if you can call it that, was nice as well.

Oh yeah, this show is so wholesome. Very likeable characters that you actually kinda care about with decent character development. There's no bullshit with this one.

The sport aspect is not the strongest aspect of the show, but it's serviceable.

And the hot momma Marissa IS how moms should be. Loving and always supporting her family and friends. God, what a huge contrast to Uchika from Hanebado.

This series was a pleasant surprise for me and I enjoyed just watching it. Looking back I think I was surprised by it the way I was surprised by the Four Rhythm series. Enjoyable and entertaining watch but not much more.

I finally got around to putting together my location hunt for Harukana Receive, where I identify which beach on Okinawa Haruka and Kanata first play beach volleyball as a pair on, the beach where their tournaments happen, which mall they visit to buy their bikinis, and which shrine they do their New Year's visit at, amongst other spots.
