First ep's out. That was surprisingly amusing to say the least. And that lady is seriously ripped. It's funny enough to have a nanny-eater like this face off against someone with military training, someone who sees through the espionage and traps that easily, but adding in this lolicon aspect somehow works too well for me. There were several times when I knew exactly what was coming but I still couldn't help but laugh at how it was presented.
I just hope there's never any indication of her or anyone else becoming a potential new mom. Somehow that doesn't feel right. |

One major downside to this kind of character is that, given that the little girl is probably going to learn to love her, in maybe as little as two or three years (I've seen it happen that early) something's going to happen that by the maid's creed makes her lose all attraction. Seriously, I hope she doesn't end up considering leaving the moment the girl has a period.
One nitpick though. The maid isn't saying that girls who haven't had a period are "angels", she's saying they're "faeries". Somehow faery seems a bit more appropriate. Also, re-watching it I couldn't help but think of Tetris as Misha ran. Last edited by BWTraveller; 2018-10-06 at 08:02. |

Not a fan of even idealised non-sexual lolicon...but I love strong, earnest protective women. What to do...? |

Hmm, a more family friendly Happy Sugar Life? The loli has no escape. I remember "Misha" to be name of a bear in a certain game. Or russians name their pet bears Misha? looking forward to next week ^^

It's also sometimes used as such for bears in children books/cartoons, since "bear" is called "medved" on Russian. |

Well it's been confirmed that Misha's name came from a bear, so that mystery's solved. And she certainly does look cute in the bear PJs.
Woman seriously doesn't know how to handle her though. If she'd just cool down a bit and not drool over her looks all the time she might be able to get somewhere. It'd be better for the girl too, since she'd finally be able to talk to an adult who'd been through the same sort of experience and could help her process her grief. Also, kind of funny watching her freak out over all the pedos trying to contact her. At least she's pretty safe: she seems to only be attracted to her on an aesthetic level. Do....people who don't body build seriously think people who do are doing 300+ pushups, situps, and etc everyday? Unless you're trying to beat a world record it's really not necessary. I mean yes some people do, but the vast majority of body builders and people who work out don't, and don't need to. I know I know, silly thing to grip over, but I see this a lot in anime.

Has anyone found an anime to be so cringeworthy that they couldn't help but stop for a minute? This managed to do that for me. I simply couldn't bear that sight of Tsubame skipping through the school in that ridiculous outfit.
That said, I was happy to see her finally tell Misha what she should have told her some time ago: people can't judge you by anything but looks until they get to know you. Her looks caught people's attention, made people want to get to know her, and she never gave them the chance. At the same time, it's all the more clear how things are going to go in this series, small moments of touching advice or aid immediately ruined minutes afterward. On a different note, sounds like Yasuhiro made a mistake with Misha in the past, telling her that her mother would get better if she was good. At six, she might not have understood a lot, but she'd still be old enough to understand some things. He should have just told her that she's fighting hard, and all they could do is believe in the doctors who help her fight and try to make her happy without any worries since it'd help her. Absolutely should've avoided giving her the impression that she'd get better if she was a good girl. There's such a thing as coddling too much, and it sounds like he really went too far there. |
