Well if Yamanami got Survived from his injuries he.ll command the Yamato in the War against the Dark Nebulan Empire and he died much like on the second original Yamato movie been focus on Dark Nebulan Invasion on Earth after the Events of New Voyage.

when Gatlantis revealed itself. they.ll pass through on Mars as they.re about to reach Earth we.ll give you an option Surrender or been Destroyed but first im going to use the Show of Force by Bomb the tar out on the Moon until it turned into a molten orb so you puny Earthlings and Gamilons to give up hope the Moon is intact than been blown off yet again it.s like in Season 2 TV Series Zordar always enjoying on blowing up the moon to show his power.

Edit: Nothing important but they did have a sweet Lego Yamato build to show off and mentioned 2202's video release will be forthcoming next year. Not too concerned about Ark of the Stars' license since it's an interquel but I would like it at some point...during a scene in 2202 where Zordar is watching a video of the Gamilas escort fleet and the Yamato it seems like that's footage from Ark and people may want to know when that happened. Speaking of Gatlantis hope they.ll reveal it.s true form a Menacing Big ass Battleship owned by Prince Zordar and ready blew up any city on Earth he choose and gloating the Yamato Crew that he is invicible unless the Gamilons would jumped on his ass.

Gatlantis is also an ancient structure known as the Ark of Destruction. It is similar technology, but seems to have less advanced warp system. Or its less well maintained.
Judging by what happened, the Gamilas walls were holding Gatlantis from warping, but once desstroyed the gas giant sized construct took off into a relatively short warp (we know it next appears at Mars).

I was thought it will turned into that Menacing Big ass Battleship if the Space Marines would storm the fortress. yet when Gatlantis goes on Mars then looks like they wanted to do their classic tradition blowing up the moon into a molten orb of fire

There is a torrent of the rest of Dai Yamato Zero with the final set of episodes. As far as I could tell it only has one WMG, but there's so many scenes of just talking and talking that I couldn't care to watch most of it. There is also a part at the end where it symmetrically docks with the Mahoroba and fires a super WMG blast:
