Well that was as heart of the cards as you could get.

And there it is, the new ace monster, it is pretty cool.

I'm glad Zaizen is defying queen, she is a real evil bitch.

Revolver as the main focus next time, I am really looking forward to that.

I hope they don't errata Firewall like they did to Chaos Emperor Dragon. It's such a shame that the once legendary and most powerful card in the game is now reduced to wasted cardboard. What Konami should have done was never touched it, so it stays on the Forbidden List for glorious eternity as a reminder of the history of the game.

Kinda disappointed by how things played, did Yusaku really need such things to maintain clean victory record?
I get that XYZ will feels new and amazing under Neo Storm Access, but not under situation that making it obvious-- oh well, its children card game, after all.

Nothing beat Zexal bullshit when it's about victories, so I can't really be angry for this.

Nah, I'm not saying its as bad as Zexal

I'm fine with Storm Access during Bohman and Revolver as the stakes are enough that Yusaku shall not lose.
Using Storm Access to do it against Go somehow like telling "Plot armor so Go + Earth AI looks like serious threat" which I don't really like.

One thing I can accept from that move is they make sure Go defeated immediately.
They put effort about how bad Go physical condition (even skinnier build, dry lips, eyebag) enough to tell audience that Akira concern is not to brush off even if Queen said its fine. If the match ended up draw, Go would be no different than living corpse on their next meeting.

I'm fairly sure the secondary effect of Neo Storm Access was thought of the same time as Anti Skill.

So there IS an episode this week. I really wish characters like Brave Max and the two reporters never existed. They're just kind of stupid and annoying and don't add any value to the storyline.

Anyways, I didn't expect the episode to end the way it did. A new upcoming duel for our 2nd protagonist!

So I was steeling myself for another boring recap episode that doesn't advance the plot in any way.

....And now we're thrown straight into a duel between Soulburner and Revolver.

Still not fond of recaps, but the fact that it leads us straight into an action episode is something I welcome.

Mostly recap with some nonsense with Brave Max inbetween.

That ending however made the show exciting, really looking forward to next episode to see Revolver VS Soulburner.

Yup, we had Episode 83 already since the last year but it hadn't been subbed. So they released it together with 84.

I guess now we know what that thing in the ending with the dark colored LINK VRAINS meant. It's been their base of operations.

Have to say its nice 'conclusion' to Revolver and Soulburner.
Revolver have no real intention to win despite good hands, while Soulburner winning itself won't do any change but new Salamangreat support. LOL.

The hype pretty much killed by its own, but it portray both on more positive light, especially Revolver. Revolver now is not the past Revolver, he acknowledged he need ally and willing to surrender if that means he can got Playmaker and others cooperation, including Soulburner with he not even trying to escape from Takeru by giving his real name.

Windy got new looks that similar to BS. Maybe Lightning use BS data to fix him. LOL.

If you ask me, that was a more or less uninspired win of Aoi. But because of this a have a prediction to make for later. If you ask me, Bohman will own her later. He is 0-3, so he needs a bigger win and there aren't that many opportunities for. Besides Spectre ( god knows how this duel will play out), everyone seems more important than Blue Maiden.

I don't know if it is me, but in some parts I felt that this episode was kinda rushed. Aoi's new deck looks good imo, but it looks like her cards depend a lot on Link Monsters, more than Yusaku's deck.

It seems a bit early for Lighting to bow out though. I think Spectre is going to lose.
