Attacking the one place in the world that even Guy Crimson doesn't dare carelessly attack... what could possibly go wrong?

In the WN the Empire core forces came out instead and Yuuki's coup was completely crushed - he only survived due to the get-out-of-death card that was Chloe in the WN, but in the LN he already lost her at this point, so...

Will Rudra replace Yuuki as the main antagonist in the LN? I think Fuse mentioned something about changing the main antagonist in the LN or something like that.


I wonder if this is where Rimuru finally "upgrades" Raphael to Manas:Ciel.

In the WN the battle didn't take place in Jura sky, but rather in the sky over the sea near the north-eastern coast of the Holy Empire Ruberios. After all Rudra, with himself personally in tow, tried a full-scale surprise attack on the territory of Ruminas but Veldora ended up intercepting that and things escalated from that point on.

If Rimuru uses the Tempest/Veldora sword in the heart of the empire... damn. His first use of the sword split the sea thanks to Veldora putting a little to much oomph behind it. Then you have Testarossa's death wave and Carrera's ability to warp gravity. No survivors.

Summary for episode 20 of the anime is out.
It's only about Rimuru seeing the dream about the children and heads goes to the capital of Ingracia.
Let's see how it plays out.
If I would guess, it starts with a party, and this is where Milim will take her leave. Rimuru will then after attempt to sleep and he sees the dream.
The day after he leaves together with the adventurers, and since Fuze is going with them to Brumund he can skip the test(like he was supposed to if it wasn't for the three idiots) and become an adventurer and easily meet up with Yuuki.

Considering how well Slime is already doing in terms of physical sales of LN and magna, just the idea that it does EVEN BETTER with digital sales is almost scary

Milim left during the party, Rimuru left the day after.
Everything between that and Yuuki was more or less cut. Rimuru got a ID and an introduction letter from Fuze off screen, and he went there with Ranga alone.
Episode ended with Rimuru meeting the children for the first time.

So, about what one could have expected if they cut out parts all out.

because the harvest festival still give me so much emotional in many way
just by Anger.. Sadness.. Despair from Rimuru alone

Is the harvest festival in the LN any different from the WN? The anime is an adaptation of the LN/Manga so I don't think it will be like the WN unless there were changes made to the massacre.

I haven't read the WN, so I can't exactly how similar they are but they are most likely very similar.
Although when people say Harvest Festival, I believe they are talking about the build up rather than the actual Harvest Festival, since the Harvest Festival is only when everyone goes to sleep to receive their gift and Rimuru evolving to Demon Slime.

The general flow in the LN:
Otherworlders comes to Tempest to cause problems. The monsters have been relying too much on Rimuru to make decisions regarding humans so lots of people dies because they don't know how to act since they can't get in contact with Rimuru.
Rimuru comes back and sees people dead and feels sad about it, it's not until he sees Shion's corpse that he almost completely losses it(The Kijin tried to hide Shion's death to Rimuru at first).
Rimuru nearly kills Myulan in rage due to the barrier she cast, but the great sage stopped him by saying that it's unlikely she was the direct cause, she Rimuru locked up Myulan instead.
Rimuru hears about the fairy tale from Ellen(aka Milim's past), and decides to become a demon lord.
The fight begins, and Rimuru slaughters everyone except for a few leaders.
One person hides in the pile of corpses, but Rimuru is about to begin Harvest Festival so he makes a half assed demon summoning and summons Diablo to find that person that is hiding.
During the Harvest Festival when everyone related to Rimuru is asleep, Raphael takes control over the body and performs the revival and uses two demons that came together with Diablo.

@LROlsson: From what i remember, the flow in WN was something like this,

- One Kingdom (the one from which that Youmu guy is from) isn't happy that Tempest was building itself to be strong economically (which was causing losses to them).
- But they couldn't attack Tempest directly, so they go to the Church, and ask there support by telling that a Nation of Monster is dangerous.
- Initially the Kingdom wanted Rimuru removed, and then capture and keep most of the named beast as slaves to use a war potential.
- Church sends a group of Human to declare the war on Tempest. And as per Rimuru's Order before (of being nice to Humans), the people in Tempest welcomed them openly without knowing there reason for coming there.
- The Human group from the Church delivered the message they had, but that group contained many extremist and bloodthirsty assassin, so they attack the people in Tempest as an enjoyment.
- Shion is killed by an Ogre Killer weapon, when she tried to save some children.
- The group from the Church also created a barrier to lock in everyone inside the City.
- Meanwhile, Rimuru returns after having barely managed to survive from Hinata's attack. Learns about the event that happened. And goes into a sort of shock for a few days. Meanwhile Great Sage is analyzing the barrier around the city.
- Ellen informs Rimuru about the legend.
- Myulan later reveals that she had already known about the whole situation before hand, but because of orders from Clayman, she didn't relay it to them.
- Rimuru, then decides to free Myulan from Clayman's control (by recreating a new heart for her). He did this mainly because he now has a way to save others.
- Rimuru orders others to maintain the barrier and keep it intact. And goes on to face the army of the Kingdom and Church which had come to attack Tempest.
- He slaughters almost everyone except the King and the group who were directly responsible for Shion's death.
- After ascending to Demon Lord, Rimuru tortures the King, and sends him back as a lump of flesh (along with a Full Restore potion), and also used brainwashing to make him kind of useless. On the other hand, he sends the group of Church Assassins (after torturing them) in a combined lump of flesh, back to them and they die after they deliver there message to Hinata and the others.
