you mean erina cause soma Lost that mc status a long time ago , never beat which was his primary goal , never beat isshiki , tsukasa , rindou who he wanted to beat . While erina solo both first and second seat during the central arc and soma as bonus . Than another half nakiri came out of nowhere with superhuman abilities to solo Joe and tsukasa soma's targets. Although he beat asahi he got washed by erina again . Soma accomplished nothing none of his goal were achieved although he did become a great chef and funny enough he ended being like Joe wandering around the world despite wanting to stay at yukihira. This manga was Erina>>>>>soma and everyone else at the end it was SHOKUGEKI NO NAKIRI.

Welp saw the whole chapter now gotta say my expectation was thrown out of the window. Thx Tsukuda wasting about 5-6 pages of gags. What a let down -_- not even gonna expect a big announcement on that expo. Should've been atleast one more chapter for soma and erina conversation or atleast match to see if 7years training soma can beat Erina. Will wait for the translation cause i dont know what they're saying xd

Welp gonna agree to Shokugeki No Erina would be better title xD

This manga, however, can be redeemed if Tosh can make a doujin out of it, with the same art style.

In the end, I actually kind of liked this final chapter, but I understand people being disappointed. Either way this manga as a whole was pretty mediocre and I'll have to adjust my expectations if I ever read another story by this author.

Spoiler: Erina and Soma at the very least care very deeply about each other. They're pursuing their dreams that are very different from each other, but still find the time to meet up every once in a while. What people don't seem to understand is that there are different ways of loving people. Whether they get married or not was never the point. If you want to interpret their relationship as romantic there's nothing wrong with it, but there's also nothing wrong with interpreting it as two people who just make each other's lives better. There's no wrong answer and I kind of like that. Soma had a profound effect on Erina and vice versa. They altered the course of each other lives significantly. It's kind of poetic imo. In the end, I actually kind of liked this final chapter, but I understand people being disappointed. Either way this manga as a whole was pretty mediocre and I'll have to adjust my expectations if I ever read another story by this author.
