Who was it that said that we'd finally be getting the next chapter and an end to the mysterious multi-month hiatus in July? They were either dead wrong or a dirty liar.

By now, I truly think the manga may be dead.

Is your plan to just declare the manga dead every couple months in order to dare it to prove you wrong

? Or are you trying to will it into death? I'm honestly not sure anymore. And I'm pretty sure the dirty liar you are after...is the person who wrote the manga and put that at the end of the latest chapter.

Everyone would love a new chapter. Heck, I'd love to know if there are health reasons, writers block, or some other reason for the delays. But all we can do is continue our lives and wait for them to surface. If the manga was cancelled, that would make news that we'd have heard. They wouldn't be releasing OVAs and continuing on quietly. The next chapter will get here when it gets here.

There are health reasons. He got a serious bug bite that I guess caused some health issues, but he's recovering and we should be getting chapters again soon.

The thing is, it's not just about me. I am the author of a big multi-fic crossover series (for reference, I started late 2010 and am currently in Book 36 of it), and at the moment I'm stuck waiting for the manga's 3rei/Ainsworth arc to finish before I can move on. Normally, I would update about once every two weeks on average, but now I've been in forced hiatus since last September - an 11-month (and counting) hiatus! My readers are getting antsy, shooting me reviews/PMs asking what the hell's taking so long even though I've TOLD them I'm stuck waiting for Prisma Illya 3rei to finish.

I'm totally happy but at the same time I'm wondering how I missed 3 mini chapters..... Well whatever.

Illya's preachiness sort of reminds me of Touma From A Certain Magical Index but Julians thoughts on Illya reminds me on how I view Shirou Emiya from the Main Routes, too much optimism and ignorant? not sure on that last part.

In the end I'm glad for any update.

Illya knows she's borrowing a lot from others. But borrowing all of that allows her to fulfill her own desires of helping those within reach. Not a lot going on in this chapter. But it was entertaining seeing the utter optimism driving both Julian and Darius nuts
