I prefer him with Kei, I personally don't find Ichinose an interesting character, all she has going on for her is her design now, hopefully that changes later but for now I just can't see her as good character and nor as a good match for Kiyo. Horikita is probably the most boring option after Sakura due to the whole "first heroine who has black hair and is serious winning the MCbowl" trope, so I can't say that I'm a big fan of a Horikita ending, plus she had her manga route(which ended up being axed due to the japanese readers having no interest in it, which is kind of a shame, it had some nice moments). Now if Kinugasa actually manages to give a good romantic development between Horikita/Ichinose and Kiyo I would be ok with them ending up with him, but I find it to be much more interesting if he stays together with Kei and we see struggles and obstacles in their relationship and both of them overcoming it together as they continue to grow as individuals.

I remember that at the time many people believed that it could also be Yamauchi. These same people thought something might happen between them because of vol 8. Well, something happened and I bet he's now a traumatized boy lol.

But seriously, what we have is very superficial to say that it was Ayanokouji who saved Arisu on the beach. I remember in vol 5 Kushida says she was anxious and feeling like a spy because she and he (along with Horikita) were going to spy on the class B students and she mentions what they did when they went to get the tests with senpai from third year. Ayanokouji for a moment wonders what she's talking about, but then remembers and says that something like that was not something worth remembering.

Maybe it may have been that way with Arisu, he just did something that anyone would do and doesn't consider a memory worth keeping. But honestly I think it was someone else.
