Yep, Uzaki-chan is definitely set in Kobe as I thought. Venus Bridge is near my house, and I'm pretty sure the college is Konan University in Okamoto.

Kobe is very rare as a manga and anime setting, for some reason.

A lot of fluffy moments, they are looking more like a couple.

For some reason I'm okay with these two taking their time.

"Sugoi Dekai" is Uzaki's favorite shirt. I should have known.

The episode was really wholesome. This show has just the right dosage of comedy, ecchi, and heartwarming moments.

Yeah, probably a lot of people who go on vacation and just play a bunch of video games instead of doing anything productive .

I love when Uzaki does something that's so obviously her and Shinichi figures it out without even seeing it's her .

Nothing gives a different impression quite like a pair of glasses...and then Uzaki and Ami turn Shinichi into their own dress up glasses doll .

The Master can barely keep up his composure at this rate .

I liked that Ami was so non-plussed admitting she doesn't hang out with a lot of boys. She's not super popular and she's okay with that .

Of course her iconic "sugoi dekai" shirt is her favorite shirt .

I know they couldn't resist an Uzaki shower scene .

First she's coming over on Saturday, then it's the weekend, then it's for life .

Kobe is the seaport famous for logistic and warehousing. I remember some manga with Yakuza story take place in Kobe. Kobe is also famous for Samba festival imported from Brazil, I think. Kobe is famous for the beef. However, when Kobe beef and Kobe burger was sold in America, people thought the beef is named after the basketball player.

Hana is alright. She can be annoying at times but she took care of senpai when he was sick and cooked for him again. The girl is expressing I like you senpai but senpai is not catching on as he's too busy being cool. He's a natural.

I like that this is focused on the main couple, kind of relaxing, no haremu and shat like that. Well, I shouldn't speak too soon.

How cute that some of you think that senpai is the dense one in that relationship.

Next episode we meet a true bro.

Well, Uzaki is a natural idiot. How else does she continually avoid getting a cold despite getting wet ?

I am definitely not up to the end of the currently-translated chapters of the manga, but...
Spoiler for not really, but I guess some might consider it a spoiler:

I feel bad that I kind of agree with Sakurai on mint chocolate. Except for the Shamrock McFlurry.

The shipping war has officially begun.

This reminded me of Gintoki's strawberry milk speech, except I could actually agree with him. Sorry Uzaki, but choco-mint tastes like shit.

Ami and Sakaki having completely different views on how to deal with the Sakurai/Uzaki situation is interesting. Will they reach an understanding or remain enemies?

That poor professor. I think what she was lecturing on was actually pretty relevant and interesting .

Wasn't expecting the popular guy to use Shinichi to ward off girls, but I guess he's effective .

Sakaki turns out to be Shinichi's cool bro, popular with the ladies but picky when it comes to who he interacts with, and he wants to see his buddy have a fun and fulfilling life. And then in walks Uzaki .

Uzaki was totally thinking of that time he fondled her breasts, right? She had a classy response, but now Shinichi is wondering what the heck happened .

So now we've got two opposing views on what to do with the ShinichixUzaki relationship. Ami wants to watch what unfolds with minimal interference because they're comedy gold, while Sakaki wants to force the issue to get these two together. Two people invested in the relationship but with different methods of dealing with it. What will unfold from here ?

Whether you agree with her or not, that was a pretty impassioned speech from Uzaki in favor of choco-mint. So much so that it got her a standing ovation on campus .

Just how accurate is Uzaki's rant about choco-mint?

I'm with sakaki in this, doing nothing will get them nowhere and a little helping hand won"t hurt, of course you need to mind how you approach them.

I can’t believe they sustained the chocolate mint joke for that long and kept it engaging.
