Everyone has wings! Can't you read the last several posts above yours?
Seriously, the goddesses don't have wings, only their angels have wings. Consequently, the question is a moot point. All angels have wings. It's an angel thing.

...or rather a god thing? I can't help thinking of them as one and the same. I'm still not getting the symbiosis thing.
And BTW, I didn't think Noktown was sure. The word "think" was used...

-The Widescreen version actually has more in the shot than the fullscreen version (it looks as if the fullscreen version was cropped from the widescreen version). For example, in one of the earlier scenes in episode 1 when Megumi is talking with Keichii and Belldandy, half of Belldandy's head is cut out in the fullscreen release, but it is all there in the widescreen release (it's the back of her head, so it's not so bad). -Aone and AYuki have switched to only doing widescreen releases, so if you want an entirely consistent season 2, you'll have to get the widescreen versions. They're also the only group that I know that is actively subbing this in english. |

That's most of it. Just for a little clarification...
The anime cells are produced and filmed in widescreen. It is then chopped down to 4:3 and aired on TV. Three weeks later it is aired in the original aspect ratio. AonE and AnY subbed the first 4 episodes from the fullscreen raws. Then the first episode aired in the unchopped widescreen format. They liked it better so they decided to re-sub the first 4 episodes in the proper aspect ratio. These widescreen versions are using the same script, so the only difference is that you have more of the video. They are no longer subbing the 4:3 version at all. According to their current plans, you will never see them release episode 5 in the fullscreen aspect. At that point I will cease to mark the version as widescreen because ALL their subs of AMG will be the widescreen version. Once they have released episode 4 in widescreen, they will finally release episode 5. Note that their releases will stay at least 3 weeks behind the original Japanese air date because they want to use widescreen raws only. They feel that chopping off the sides of the screen is a horrible thing to do to beautiful animation.

All in all, the WS versions are far superior to the FS versions. |

There aren't very large diffences between the manga and anime but the anime does sometimes tend to skip around and has shown a few things out of order from the manga, since the seires has kind of an episodic feel to it. You might lose whole volumes if you pick up where the anime leaves off.

The characterization though, this is probably one of the biggest criticisms levelled against the anime from fans of the manga. It mainly revolves around Belldandy and her relationship with Keiichi. In the manga, Belldandy is (was) much more forward, bold and direct with her relationship with Keiichi, not only with him, but with those who would try and interfere with them. However, in the anime, she is much more laid back, and possibly blissfully ignorant of her relationship with Keiichi. An example of this is when Skuld became an adult. In the manga when she was clinging to Keiichi's arm, Bell told her to stop being so close to him, while in the anime, Bell was totally oblivious to the notion that perhaps Skuld was developing feelings for Keiichi. |

Ok sry this is more of a funny fact than a question.
Idk if anyone noticed this before but in season one after bel and K1 defeated Lord of Terror and as we know bel released her seal which made her return to her heaven cloths and her hair turned grey. Well once all was said and done bel had to reseal her power. Now heres the funny part and I'll leave it up to u to decide if its a mere coincidence or a chance to bash blondes. When bel resealed her powers her hair turned blonde... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DUMB BLONDES |
