Her grail might not be as potent as Illya's, but she IS a grail too if you recall. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a plot point later on, or if he was aware of it and was keeping her around as a potential third grail if two turned out to not be enough. This is also likely why he hasn't tried to make an offensive move towards Ruby or Sapphire: backups to backups.
Also, his current point seems to be trying to drive them into a corner so they'll resign themselves to their fate of doing what he wants. Killing Kuro would just rev them up and make them go all-in on revenge rather than giving up, so it'd be the opposite of what he wants. That's why he's just letting them try to fight him and easily breaking apart their means of fighting back. |

New chap is up. Darius easily overwhelms the girls' last-ditch effort to stop him, destroys the Berserker and Rider cards. Now he has his sights set on destroying the Archer card... which is currently sustaining Kuro's life/existence.

I have no idea what they are going to do here. They are basically out of cards. The only one left is the one they really can't afford to lose here. But even if they can keep Kuro safe that doesn't give them an avenue to win.
Suppose losing their cards would push towards whatever 3rei form or power-up that might emerge here. Probably weren't going to end everything with just using the cards. Things could get worse before they get better to be sure. Could easily see a chapter ending with Kuro's card getting crushed. But then transitioning into some sort of miraculous survival method that ties into their ultimate move. Plenty of wild cards as well still out there. Gil is still potentially a factor. Tanaka is one. Lancelot Sakura is one. Heck the Origin Bullet that Kuro got is one. Technically all the cards aren't gone. Just almost all of the ones they spent the entire first arc gathering. It's a bad situation and they are steadily getting cornered.

The main problem is certainly being able to land a hit and avoiding Kuro getting killed. But I'd still say firepower is still an issue. Need to be able to bring him down after solving the most immediate issue.
I wouldn't be pulling on using that mode from either Illya or Miyu. A self-destructive mode isn't the best option when you aren't sure how to land a hit. Got to figure out how to deal with whatever he's doing.
