The only thing we know they are studying in their own spare time, is Japanese culture as they are in the "Japanese Culture Research Society" club which they founded. So they are also teaching it.

The official dxd release looks like it will see steady releases. Sadly at 3 months apart it will still take 7 years to catch up lol. Wonder what will come first shin 5 or that lol

7 years is already long enough for Ishi to maybe finish Shin 5 but that's just my thoughts though. I bet this year and next year Ishi will release very few volumes of Shin and DX due to his health concerns and this current pandemic.

Ishibumi stopped writing since June last year to recuperate and as of DX.6, is discussing with his editor to find a time when he can continue writing.

Character names are translated correctly with a few being changed like Kalawarna -> Kalavana etc

With Ishibumi repeatedly mentioning a blonde, busty elf, at this point I see it as a hint that he's going to add one into the story. He mentioned her today along with a silver-haired, busty elf for the first time so he may also add a silver-haired, busty elf too

Yeah, he will probably do that. I think he also mentioned an android girl, though it's hard to tell when Ishibumi is serious on Twitter. Girls could be from ExE or FxF.
