Episode 1
Cute start but I'm not sold on this just yet. We got some of the cast introduced, most noticably Noera. It's quite a lighthearted show and I guess Reiji is tolerable on some levels. Not impressed by his character yet though. There were also a lot of yelling from one of the female characters. Hopefully they'll develop Noera further as a character for rest of the season. That drug making scene was adorably cute though.

What is the point of this anime? What is the point of calling it isekai? Where is the isekai part? The anime starts out with his drugstore already established and his past life is never even referenced nor mentioned.
To think Kazuma's VA from Konosuba is voicing this boooooooring MC who's name I already forgot.

Moving on, that's quite a cute first episode. The skits seem to be like in Bob the Builder: someone asks for help and the MC provides the solution. However, I gotta face the fact that the entire process of making the medicine won't be as detailed as I hoped. I appreciate how Noella acts like a dog for the entire episode. Noella is a good girl, would headpat on sight.

Art seems pretty "soft" too. They don't seem to really develop any story, just kind of here it is, plop. I'll probably keep watching it, but not terribly impressed so far. |

The protagonist does not have to die or teleported to isekai.
There is an anime called isekai restaurant. Basically, there is a portal connected to isekai. The chef's cooking is famous, which isekai people become his loyal customer. Then, there are not quite isekai anime. People get into isekai by playing VR games. There is another isekai story invovled pharmacist. |

This could be a nice comfort series. Noella is plenty adorable. Definitely walks the line between being cute and just too much. But I think she still finishes on the cute side of that line. If nothing else having a weekly dose of "woof" should be nice.
Nothing crazy from this one. Just steady and comfortable.

I was responding to the comments that only the protagonist been in the iseka can considered as isekai anime. I used the example of isekai restaurant. For this show, the guy is a salaryman who resents his job, and he calls himself company pet(社畜). On his way to the office, he finds himself in the forest. The popup screen shows he has appriasal skill and drug discovery skill. He immediately applies his skill to a dying wolf.

This's a minor nitpick, but I honestly wish they'd translate Noel's lines a bit differently. Her lines are very clearly quite stunted, so translating her with perfect grammar doesn't really fit. Should be more like "Me not Beastkin, me Werewolf!", or something along those lines to suggest a limited vocabulary and grasp of the language.

Sometimes all you need is a picker-upper, and this show was exactly that. It doesn't boast any shots worth submitting to Sakugablog. The story is simple and bordering on repetitive. But it does the job right; seeing Reiji live a quiet and cozy life while making a quick fix to anyone who needs help is the right amount of weekly good vibes.
