^Only second to Elise, in public eyes at least. Philline might be bastard child but her father is Margrave and MC's superior while the rest of Wend's wives, they came from low rank family, vassel or adventure. (maybe except Wilma even though she's adopt)

So in LN,Wend marry Theresa, they upgrade her from mistress to official wife.

Looking at the wiki though, it’s funny that Ina’s daughter is engaged to the crown princes son. The daughter of the son of an originally low ranking Noble and the daughter of a vassal becoming the wife of a future king lol. I’d expect that with the daughter of Elise but not Ina lol

Funny Emera already pregnant when they get married. Wend is close friend with Peter and by that time, Wend already Margrave rank. To make a friendship between kingdom and empire stronger, i think Peter arrange Wend to marry with Therese who is former duchess.

Crown prince is actually loner person who really want friend so he keep insist that Wend and him are close friend by engaged their children lol.
