And I think the reason this is marked NTR is that it's the guy having an affair with his senior's girlfriend--he's NTRing his senior's girlfriend from him. I could be wrong.

Nah, this is both Netori and Netorare
Karen cheating on her boyfriend (Yuu, her boyfriend also, protagonist)
Touko, the heroine got cheated by her boyfriend ( Karen's cheating partner)
So both Yuu and Touko decided take revenge on their cheating lovers by being together.
Their revenge is boring. Being together and exposing them to public. Just that. Karen just doesn't give a shit and after being dumped just move on with her life apparently.
Exposing them to public mean nothing if they don't give a shit.

Also, I still can't understand. Seriously... All of good cheating and revenge that set in modern world in kakuyomu. Why the hell this one got picked up and even being overrated? Meh

Hmm...if there is no regret and the cheating partner was bad to begin with, it feels more like just a setup for a new couple. The breakup doesn't sound very fun for me.

Personally I prefer anguish and regret in breakups while having a problem that was still under the characters own control. One or both of them just did the wrong thing.

If the cheating partner didnt regret his actions then his revenge is a failure but dont expect much from japanese novel to do revenge good

NTR on non hentai works needs a preexisting clear relationship that hot enough development to feel empathy for the betrayed character, if the work failed to do this then you just get works like this (WN)

Too many broken relationship stories don't concentrate on why I wanted to read them in the first place. If I wanted to read a regular vanilla story I would have started to read a vanilla story.

I usually avoid straight vanilla stories because the couple is usually only doing cute stuff and it's supposed to be good just for the cute stuff alone. I've seen cute stories hundreds of times already. There's got to be something interesting for me besides the cuteness. I need some kind of regular plot please.

This is a case where author not following the original premise actually works to my advantage, but I can understand that people who liked it are legimitately disappointed. I'll wait to see how the author plans to reintroduce cheating to decide if the series suits my tastes.

But in WN, they were.
Karen f*ck senpai guy while act like simple cute girl in front of her boyfriend(The protagonist) who she never let touch her.
The two cheated couples should just dump them instead of wasting time on petty revenge.

Should've chose soccer ntr or that swapping story instead.
