Damn, episode 20. Great fight!! But it's also kinda heavy. It's sad how people accuse Darklizamon & Saberdramon for being murderers when they actually protected the fire victim in their own way. He died due to pure panic & misunderstanding. I'm not blaming those two Mons for feeling bitter afterwards. Thank god Blacktailmon answered their plea to go home.
And after so long, Gammamon can now actually control his evolution to better suit the situation. And what a showcase that was! This episode is complete package: good story, good characters, good stakes & great fight. Just what we need after the cryptic last episode with Piccolomon.

And Arukenimon/Arachnemon is actually hotter & more competent in this show than her 02 counterpart.
But that Gulus though, no mercy whatsoever. He shoved his thing right down Arukenimon's throat and....FATALITY!

It's nice to have GG back. Oh and and early in this episode they already paid homage to Stephen King with the Dr. Sleep trivia.
Skullgreymon is our Freddy Kruger in this episode, but it turns out he's not a real entity. The one who caused the incident was Pilomon's nightmare bubbles. She ate too much dreams -> became ill -> caused her to have nightmares from her memory where she was chased around by Skullgreymon -> produced the nightmare bubbles that hit people to sleep & have the same nightmare. They also need to maintain distance from Skullgreymon in the dream. Not too close but also not too far or they'll loop. The mechanism actually makes sense. Also glad to see that Bakumon gets to do something this episode. He healed people's dream-injuries since he's a sleep/dream-based digimon. I'm also glad that Kyoshiro gets to realize his chuunibyo power in the dream. He splits the sea like Moses . Anyway, nice episode & nice comeback of GG. The new ED visual looks nice too.

.......sad episode
So this is is what happens when a digimon loves a human and really want to be together with him in the most physical sense. Either he becomes digimon or Ajatarmon becomes human. She tried to do both but failed. Ajatarmon's experiment came short and she perished. All in all this episode really has that Bride of Frankenstein-vibe except the one who did the experiment was the monster. But it's just as tragic. ___________________________________ That said, we finally meet Mr. Narrator! And looks like he'll accompany us in a recap episode next week

Another hard hitting episode. Angoramon is forced to execute his bestfriend, Digitamamon . All because Digitamamon has succumbed to his hunger for human souls, killing a lot of people in his wake. That's really heavy for Angoramon.

Oh wow, I didn't expect Canoweissmon to (technically) lost just three episodes after his debut. Then again, Asuramon is a beast. He pulled the "ORAORAORA" on Canoweissmon enough to make him devolve . If it's not for Angoramon's quick wit, everyone would've been screwed. And the animation is very good considering the complex design of the Digimons.
Also, it's still a mystery what happened to Canoweissmon. Is it a time limit or a breaking point? Can't wait for the exploration in future episodes.
