oh, don't get me wrong. we _will_ be continuing the tv-rips, episodes 12-17 or so have already been translated, and we should start releasing soon. we were just thinking about releasing all the DVD-rips afterwards. it shouldn't be too much work, mainly resynchronizing the subs and typesetting, since there prolly won't be a lot extra.

i hope they keep the elephant head censor >.<;;;;; god help us

Of course they're there! That's like half of the humour in at least some episodes, and it would definitely wouldn't be the same without it. (Yeah, sorry -- putting this in spoilers was lame, but I couldn't resist. )

In other news, the DVD transfer looks good, as can be expected. Haven't done a close inspection, but I didn't notice any major problems. The whole thing has a bit of a soft transfer, as I've seen on a number of other shows that use depth-of-field blur extensively, and it looks nice. No extras on the disc this time, but that's to be expected because this is the "cheaper" disc of the 9.

In other news, the DVD Menu has the same image as the DVD cover, and does the same thing when you click a menu link.

I'd definitely love DVD rips after the TV releases. A lot of people are still finding out the show, and I'm still trying to get more people to watch it. It'd also be better for archiving in terms of higher quality. I loved the Amaenaideyo DVD rips you guys did, and would love for you to also do Inukami once it's done.

Oh that would be great then! It'd be a good way to store the episodes (and probably even watch them again by the time all the DVD rips are out ;P )

It's good to hear we'll be getting some Inukami soon too , thanks to mendoi for they're great work.

Wow! that was a suprize, I didn't expect Youko’s Dad to be like that... Though he was Great! =) I was thinking he would be more evil.. or something along those lines. The pictures he took of Youko were interesting.. Also Thx to him, we dont have to see Keita in a Dress anymore, Yea!

The whole episode was great, we found out about the first meeting between Youko and Keita, and Youko's dad get introduced. Plus Sekidousai shows up to set up a battle for next episode. The preview didn't look fantastic, (Character designs were a bit crappy..) but it should be good, not sure how they are going to fit Kaoru & the frozen one into it.

One thing to add is whoever.. did the voice of Youko's Dad did a great job =)

I was surprised by her dad too. Instead of being a raging monster, he's just an over-powerful guy with a short temper who likes to have fun.

The most important event this episode was learning how keita met youko.
It was really cute

Lol, this show has ample doses of mandatory saabisu of the kind of don't subscribe to,
so I'd never admit to anyone i know that I watch it.


The love story gets me though, and tomohane has such an interesting attitude.

( I noticed that she was the one to jumped over to save keita from being turned to stone, and noone else not even youko. Then when they announced keita and youko's wedding, she cheered. Such a cute inukami. )

/must delete the raw quick before anyone catches me watching this series.
