Not a fan of memory wiping debacle if I am being honest.

It just feels like it undoes all the character development and character relationships

I really hope things get better for her, I was always a fan of her pairing up with Haruhiro but the universe seems to like to torture our naib characters!.

I'm not a fan of it myself but I also think it helped on some character development

for Haruhiro, Setora and Kuzaku at least. Right now I think Haruhiro's kind of a defacto pillar of trust even for Renji because they don't know who to trust with all the shit that has went down in Grimgar, as the plot is actually moving now instead of being stagnant.

For Kuzaku and Setora I think it was a downside as I liked Kuzaku before but maybe not Setora. Though Kuzaku is more of a docile obedient guard dog after the orc raid, he's a bit more confident after the memory wipe. Also Setora losing the weird I love Haruhiro thing is fine too? Juumonji-sensei also seems to be going for the Kuzaku-Setora ship this time around and confirming Ranta-Yume ship, albeit its still onesided on Ranta's part. The only Triangle right now is Merry-Haru-Mimori but we'll see how it goes.

Right now I only read 10 of the 19 volumes so I can't tell you much related to what happens in the latest volumes, but I can tell you that all of the books are already translated so it shouldn't take too long to catch up and see yourself how things are.
