Blake is really running with the concept of "fighting fire with fire". This could work out for them. It is definitely the only way to keep Nega-Weiss contained long enough to actually defeat the Grimm. They are basically out of tries here and can't afford to have her get in the way of saving her again. Just means they'll have to deal with Blake soon after.

Oh boy. Poor Weiss. On the positive side she's still alive. On the downside...she gets to live with the shame

. At least she didn't realize what had happened until after they beat the Nightmare since I'm pretty sure she would have been in no shape to fight the last enemy after getting hit by that revelation.

I can't say anything bad about a last episode that concludes with a super over the top food fight

. Really had fun with this last episode overall. And as much as it could it wrapped things up pretty well.

At least for someone who didn't have specific knowledge of the RWBY franchise going into this, I thought it was a fun ride. The main four were all good with Weiss and Ruby being particularly great in this.

I'd probably settle with a 7.5/10. It was an engaging ride where I was curious how things were possibly going to turn out alright with how dicey it got at points. Not bad

To me, the main incident took WAY too long. Even forced at some moments.
The producers surely got forced to stall it enough to fill the whole season.
Too much back-and-forth just to overdramatize the incident.
And the lack of funny and/or cool moments during the incident weirded me much.
At some point, it seemed like an original story with an alternate variant of the RWBY cast.
Ep01-03 & 12 were, to me, the best episodes of the season. For (unfortunately) obvious reasons...

It could have been a lot better than it was. They could have cut the dream quest by two episodes easily and it would have been better for it. They should have used that to put a fun(comedy or action) filler before the quest and used the other to extend the aftermath.

Even if Rooster Teeth died, that's all the IP to Warner Bros and they'd finish it. They obviously value it highly based on the crossover.
