Judging from author comment, the next chapter will be likely about the condition/situation in Tiger empire after the war. Maybe we will know what happen to Fuuga.

Well he failed to do anything that the now Euphoria kingdom didn’t provide on a silver platter. He didn’t gain any concessions on Friedonia. Friedonia resolved the issue with the demons. Many likely became disillusioned as a result. Factions likely popped up. Fuuga isn’t likely to fake such a thing even if Hashim proposed it.

The continuation of spoiler from before:

-Essentially the battle is like this:
-Gaten vs Kagetora, Mio vs Kasen, Julius & Jirukoma vs Hashim, Liscia vs Mutsumi (Mutsumi eventually withdraw after it is discovered she is pregnant).

-Fuuga join the battle a little while later, with Hal & Ruby, later Aisha & Naden sent to stop him. Even with these four, the best they can do is bringing down Fuuga to ground with Naden restraining Dorga. After being brought down to ground, Fuuga decide to after Souma, with Hal chasing him.

-After Fuuga reach the place where Souma is (Excel and Ludwin also present, but Souma orders them to stand still), Souma use magic canceler to weaken him. Even with magic canceler and his damage from fighting Hal and others, normal troops still don’t stand a chance against him. Finally in front Souma, Fugaa praises him for not running and give him a chance to resist. Souma pulls his sword to defend. Fuuga attack is strong enough to cut Souma’s sword, but Souma more or less able to prevent fatal wound. When Fuuga about s about to cut Souma, he see how Souma is laughing and declare that Owen win his bet. At this moment, Hal throw his spear and cut one of Fuuga’s wing, injuring him heavily.

-When Hal is trying to finis Fuuga off, Souma orders Ludwin to stop Hal, not wanting him to bear the karma of being hero-killer. With Fugaa completely in no condition to fight longer, Souma decides to hold another broadcast to everyone (both kingdom and empire) that show how Malkitam (Fuuga’s hometown) and Tiger empire capital is under siege from Maritime Alliance force led by Maria. (Juna, Gouran, and Shabon also participating in siege). With this revelation, Fuuga admit defeat.

-With Fuuga defeated, Yuriga ask Souma to spare his life. Souma readily agree knowing well that killing Fuuga will only cause more problems than he can handle. Fuuga, not wanting to deal with the problems that will await him, about to commit suicide before Liscia stop him by telling him how Mutsumi is pregnant. This revelation stopped him from commiting suicide and completely admit defeat.

And the war end.

Some events after the war:
-Souma welcomes back Roroa and others. He later along with family and vassals also hold funeral for Owen, Herman, and the others who died to delay Fuuga Force.

That’s all about it. So damn tired these days so i decided to work on it as quick as possible while i still can. Also, here the latest chapter posted today.

A year after the war end, Fuuga basically doesn’t do anything heroic like fighting enemy and spend his life like normal man with his wife and son, Suiga. During this time, he also decided to strengthen the empire. But many people of the empire don’t share this sentiment due to various reason and it resulted in rebellion in many places. Fuuga only sent his subordinates to supress the rebellion while he doesn't participate. When Fuuga and Mutsumi discussing about the future, they are attacked by the rebel led by Krahe.

If the death turns out to be true, and not the cliche fake death to lead a normal life in secret, then I'd like to say that is the fate I'd expect of any conqueror whose charisma is only based on power and war.

Even if his "ambition" was achieved, I'd say he still would've been assassinated one way or another by rebels in his camp or Soma/Maria's.

Mutsumi as Soumas eighth wife. Her sons life is in danger with these rebels and will just be used by the rest as a political tool. I could see her offering up herself as his wife if Souma agreed to protect her son. He could also potentially engage him to one of his daughters as well to try to control any ambition her son might have in the future.

Just reported. Even Fuuga, Mutsumi, and others believe Hashim is most likely one to start rebellion. But Hashim doesn't betray Fuuga with the reason that he explained to Gaten:
"There is no point in betraying Fuga-sama when he is still alive. Even if I was lucky enough to kill Fuga-sama, what awaited me was a quagmire-like succession battle with loyal retainers like Shuukin-dono. totally unproductive "

CH.132 sad news arrives

The chapter starts with the situation of the world post-war from Souma side. Like how each country start to recover from war. How they send personnel to investigate north world etc. During his rest, Souma discuss with Maria of how their daughter, Stela Euforia will be adopted as Hakuya & Jeanne child, and that Jeanne is currently pregnant. During their discussion, they are interupted by Kagetora carrying report of how Fuuga is considered dead or alive due to rebellion to their shock. Hearing this report, Souma fears that with the rebellion, it will cause a the situation to fall into chaos, the same one when he was first summoned to Landia. He orders Kagetora to summon the vassals he can gather. While Maria and Aisha will go to Yuriga to report Fuuga status.

This is more or less explained in Vol.17. Because Souma DNA is already registered by Mao, so those whose share his blood, meaning his children and and his descendants, within a certain degree of kinship will have the ability to place restrictions on Mao, or shut down her functions and some other limited capacities. This will be necessary for many countries if they to venture to north world. When other maritime alliance learned of this, they immediately asked for Souma children through their children marriage (for Kuu and Shabon) and adoption (For Hakuya and Jeanne).

Well, with the conclusion of the Fuuga-Souma War, i guess we should be getting LN Vol.18, either during February or March, and Vol. 19 (if needed) shouldn't be far behind that (i think the War plot might take up 2 volumes, but i maybe wrong).
