This chapter starts with explanation about what happens in each country after the Krahe rebellion.
-Moumei gives Zem back to Gimbalt to return to The empire to strike down Krahe. But he failed and died because the number of his force is inferior to Krahe forces. As for Gimbalt, after having a discussion with Lords of Zem territory, they decide to send request to Turgis so Zem will be integrated as part of Turgis Republic, with Ku agreed. The situation ended wtihout bloodshed
-As for Lunaria orthodoxy, the situation over there is completely in chaos. The faction that support Fuuga lose their authority and those branded as Heretic exact their vengeance on them. Saint An is condemned and imprisoned in tower. With no more authority to quell the situation, it cause so much bloodshed within the country until Souji (much to his reluctance) and Marie, accompanied by Carmine troops, arrived and calmed down the citizen. Marie tended to An, who already crippled due to lack of nutrition, dehydration, and big emotional wound
- As for the empire, it splits into 3 power now.
The first is Krahe Army, led by Krahe himself, advocating the succession of Fuuga's expansion line, they attracted those who were trapped in the illusion that the Great Tiger Empire was the largest and most powerful nation on the Landia continent.
The second is Resistance Army, consist of Shuukin, Lumiere, Lombart and his wife Yomi, along with those loyal to Fuuga and angry to Krahe. Their number is less than Krahe Army.
The last and the one with overwhelming number is Neutral Faction. Rather than being neutral, the majority of the empire was made up of those who said they couldn't move. Not knowing who would be able to lead the empire without Fuuga, for the time being, they were the ones who wanted to watch the progress of the battle between the Krahe army and the resistance army. The people of the Great Tiger Empire, who have grown in power by following Fuuga's charisma, have long abandoned the idea of choosing their own future.
Due to the difficulty to procure soldiers and supplies, the resistance army requested for support from Garlan spirit kingdom and Euphoria Kingdom.
-In Friedonia, Kasen arrived with Suiga and entrusted him to Yuriga before he departed. Liscia then ask Souma what to do with the empire problem. Souma answered that they will work with Resistance Army to bring down Krahe Force.

Considering the title of the series Part 4 is “How a Realist Hero Build an Empire”, I think it’s obvious how things will eventually turn out.

Not surprised about Krahe’s position. The man was a loose canon to begin with. What does surprise me is that Lumiere is part of the resistance and not a leader of the rebellion.
Seems strange to end it all now when there’s a rebellion and after hyping up the northern continent so much. Maybe a sequel series focusing on Soumas children?
We will know 2 weeks later. On the side note, while i said nothing noteworthy in ch 135, there is one point of that rather intersting

Only final battle between krahe army vs resistance army backed by friedonia. The night before final battle, souma ask julius for something. It isnt revealed what is souma want, only that is it something that is heaven-sent for julius, although he is rather reluctant by looks of it.

if I had to guess it probably involves taking over the former Lastania region and its surrounding and making Julius king of it rather than have it join Friedonia. Getting back his wife’s former lands would be heaven sent but the people chased them out and his failures there and in Amidonia I imagine make him reluctant to accept.
Another option is Souma sending him to back up the moderate factions of Lunaria. We’ve seen the terror they have of him which would make him reluctant to be involved directly. But atoning himself for what he did would seem heaven-sent to him as well.
I think the reason Julius was set up to be the one killing Krahe was to provide justification for him to be granted a territory to rule over which most likely will be Lastania’s former land and the one where Jirokuma and Komain lived in.

-Aisha easy killed Nata

Ch.137 The second Balm Summit
-For his achievement in taking Krahe's head, Souma awarded Julius with Lastania Restoration, something both already discussed before the battle.
-With Fuuga's dead, the empire is bound to fall apart. Shuukin suggests Souma to rule the empire, only for him to refuse due having his hand full taking care of Lunaria chaos.
-1 month after the rebellion, the second Balm Summit is held with all world leader (except Tiamat) participate (including Julius who also participate as representative of Lastania and Mao from North) to discuss world restructuring now that fuuga is gone.
they agree to give Zem to Turgis and Lunaria gets the Vatican treatment with the rest of the lands going to Friedonia though give up many sea ports in exchange. looks the the tiger empire was split into 3. Shuukin and Lumiere will rule the western portion till Suiga comes of age. Lombard will rule the central region minus the Seadian territory. The Lastanian family will rule the territory of the former confederacy of eastern nations. They further make a confederacy of the southern continent.
Looks like they author is planning to make a collection of after stories for many of the characters.
[Final Arc Prologue] Part139 Propose
- After the end of Krahe's rebellion, Maritime Alliance become Southern Continent Union with all countries (except Nothung) became part of it. The future generations described it as the time where Maria built the foundation, Fuuga built castle on top of it, and Souma's Family live there. The Southern continent enjoyed peace for several hundred years to come with Souma recognized as Emperor despite not having an empire or being emperor.
The setting in this chapter is take several years after last chapter.
-Carla became head maid after Serina retired with Poncho's daughters in their early teens working in castle as maid-in-training. After they left, she is approched by Cian, who already became king, and proposed by him.

Juno meanwhile had a reasonable chance but her position as his eyes amongst the common people would’ve prevented them marrying. Maybe one of the after stories would make them secret lovers who married after he stepped down and her job was fulfilled.

it’s just going to turn out to be Nadens daughter.
Naden always had the chance to give to a human, a Ryuu egg or birth a child of the sea serpent race like excel. She likely did the ladder and they sent the child to study under Excel since she would be more knowledgeable of the abilities of the sea serpent race. Excel, in her infinite trolldom, likely spread the rumor by taking Nadens secondary queen status and lack of knowledge by the people of the link between Ryuu and the ssr.
It would be interesting though if Excel accidentally reveals that there is a illegitimate child and that results in the reporter going through the family for clues as the premise of these epilogue chapter
So turns out Noa is in fact Nadens daughter. The reporter didn’t realize because Noa is just a nickname used amongst friends and family. It was originally Noir but the younger siblings had trouble pronouncing it so got stuck as Noa and the family ran with it lol. He real name Rinoa Delal Souma. Apparently she is taller than Naden so Naden gets poked fun at when trying to act motherly. Lol
