Sorry kids, you had a nice school uniform, but you didn't stand a chance against the Imposter Sarasa, who is just cutting a swath through the other schools by impersonating their members and tearing into them
 .Well, at least Hiroto is still finding time to have fun with his new Chuuni loli friend. Though it's kind of suspicious what she's been doing during the day and how she doesn't have to attend school  .Hiroto, you have to learn that it takes a long time for a girl to get ready. Especially when her crush is visiting her hotel room. And the mood immediately turns into two awkward teens attracted to each other who don't know what to do with themselves when in a hotel room together. Rina looks really cute in her loungewear  .You'd think Shinji and Nanase, being childhood friends, would easily be able to tell they're not being impersonated, but I guess their volatile personalities just make things difficult. Not to mention they end up bailing on the next match, leaving their team undermanned  !Well, the less people around, the easier it is for Noa to flirt with Hiroto, to Shirayuki's displeasure. They could probably spend all day arguing over who the third wheel in this situation is  .Finally up against Kururugi! Who is as powerful and capable as she looks! But luckily Hiroto, as always, has subterfuge, trickery, and Shirayuki and Noa by his side to make up for the difference! And though they don't take Kururugi out, they decimate her forces quite a bit  .Aw, Shinji does care about Nanase! Whose only takeaway from his concern is trying to make it sound like he was confessing to her. These two are surprisingly cute together  .Why would Hiroto eliminate himself? Is it a bid to get at the fake Sarasa ?

nice chapter, hiroto won in the end against her since she ran away. She may had her reasons but still is a win for hiroto and even with him out the battle, nobody could beat him and he is still the "strongest".
Big plan next, let's see how they win this and beat the fake. |

Look at Kurahashi sitting back and sipping wine as his plan goes into motion! Dude is really trying hard to come off like the main villain again after how anti-climactic his last defeat was
.Hiroto and Rina confront Kazami about all the blatant cheating going on in ASTRAL and she spills the beans on how Miss Hundred Faces isn't supposed to be in the game but LIBRA can't do anything about it because she was forced in through the admins and they're left to take the blame for her antics. All Kazami wanted to do was help make a fun game for everyone to play fairly. Well, perfect opportunity for our main characters to set things right .Of course they had to slip into the control room with Hiroto stuck in a box between Shirayuki and Rina, which is as awkward and intimate as you would expect, especially when they're debating whose touching where on who  .So the plan is Hiroto gets back into the game and rallies all the other schools against Miss Hundred Faces...which involves winning at MTCG, which also involves battling the middle-school girl he'd been hanging out with, Tsumugi Shiina. And now Hiroto has to explain to his love interests why he's been spending nights with a middle-school girl in a hotel room  .MTCG is basically a trading card game with familiars you boost up with cards with number values? Kazami makes for a very cute cat familiar .It's nice to see Kururgi's classmates don't want to see her subservient to Miss Hundred Faces just to cover for their own weakness, to the point of helping Hiroto out .Yuikawa really thought he was hot stuff but Tsumugi's gone full Chuuni final boss mode, complete with a cute Cerberus familiar named Lloyd. And then she turns Yuikawa into Yamcha .Level -99? Yeah, that tracks for a Chuuni girl. But luckily Kagaya is able to hack into and alter her Familiar's level so Hiroto can win. Not that it bothers Tsumugi much, it just proves that Hiroto is as worthy an opponent as she thought he was. And she'll fight him again, since she's Miss Hundred Faces .Hiroto with the epic speech and resurrection moment! Rallying everyone behind him to clean up this game and beat Tsumugi! If anyone can do it (with the power of BS and hacking), it's Hiroto .

Yeah, I suppose all the stuff in this episode might as well happen
. Up to and including Hiroto scoring his win the way he did. So all that card grinding was kind of pointless? If the plan was to hack his opponent then any number of cards would have been fine. I guess there were quests or something to clear (though not sure what those even were) so he couldn't go that quickly, but still it a was a bit odd.Honestly the most amusing part of all this was Yuki and Rina looking displeased at him for spending time with the loli. Though I think that was more than made up for the whole box transportation .Time to move to the next phase.

Figures Hiroto would have to make the most epic re-entrance into the game ever
.So they've got a lot of schools on their side now, but Miss Hundred Faces' Allies have some of the strongest schools still on their side, so they have to cripple her side and get a trump card on their side. And that trump card is Kururugi and her one-shot kill  .(Also, is that Fairouz Ai as Kurugui?) Shinji and Nanase work surprisingly well together! Even to the point that Kururugi admits they seem very intimately acquainted. Nanase denies it, but you can tell she appreciates people reading into their relationship like that  .Kugisaki, Kirigaya, and Minami make quite the trio, especially Minami with her deadpan, "I'd rather be anywhere but here" personality. She also appreciates Nanase's thighs, so she's a true woman of culture .It's hax ability vs hax ability as Kirigaya unleashes all his OP skills (giant magic sword! Dual Wielding! An invincible barrier!) against Hiroto and his team. We even lose Shinji and Nanase. Noa even sacrifices herself, all to protect her precious Hiroto  .I thought it was weird Kugisaki was on the same side as a fake Sarasa, but now it makes sense...he jumped ship and teamed-up with Hiroto to pull a betrayal and take Kirigaya out. Too bad it was too late to save Shirayuki. Now it's just Hiroto and Rina now  .So remember that plan to have Kurugui take down Miss Hundred Faces? Yeah...that didn't work. The only upside is Rina survived another round because the time went out, but she's in utter despair. Seems like it's up to her and Hiroto to stop Tsumugi somehow .

Hiroto has a lot on his plate trying to figure out the best way to take down Miss Hundred Faces...and Rina is right there by his side! Poor girl actually thought he was going to confess to her, though
.How does Hiroto get through to Tsumugi and make her challenge them to one final game? Well, actually, it's not that hard because Tsumugi loves playing with him and that's really what she cares about most. She hates school but forged a high school account just so she could play ASTRAL and went along with Kurahashi because his whole scheme sounded just Chuuni enough to appeal to her. Somehow none of that surprises me  .So Hiroto preys on Tsumugi's love of games and trust in him to get her to compete in one last game, Crossboard, with the entire ASTRAL field up for grabs between him, Rina, and Tsumugi. Also thankfully she transforms into her real form so there aren't two Sarasa's sniping at each other .And Hirito manages to put both girls in check, which is all well and good...though to the surprise of probably no one, Kurahashi tries to cheat and fill the board with copies of their rivals to gain spots for Seijo, and failing that he even controls Tsumugi. What a creep  !Of course Hiroto had plans too, like making everyone think Shinji and Nanase had been eliminated when they were still in the game, taking out all the copies and flirting with each other while sniping at each other. Peak childhood friend romance !People really do keep busting into Kurahashi's office. Now this time Shirayuki has a whole army! He's beat! As is Tsumugi. Hiroto played them both phenomenally .But Tsumugi isn't a bad girl, she just wanted to play, have fun, and wasn't aware that what she was doing was bad. And to Kazami, the fact that she enjoyed what they set up in ASTRAL and made things more exciting as Miss Hundred Faces, is all they could have asked for  .So the day is saved, and a single lie Hiroto told in the first episode has brought him far...new relationships, new friendships, new challenges, practically a Harem, and the attention of everyone in the city. And while he still hasn't found the girl he's searching for, he's found irreplaceable comrades who will follow him through his lies until he finds her  !

This definitely ended up a 6/10 kind of show. Nothing awful, but it just didn't quite go anywhere after a while. The last episode was fine. The main pair of girls remained great from start to finish. And hey they took care of business here. Solid enough ending to the game. Although funny enough the game itself didn't matter at all since they just...manipulated the body of the young girl to secure a win. Ok...that sounds pretty bad when I type it up.
The most memorable thing I have for the show was that utter nonsense redemption for Noa. Pulls out the sympathy card and suddenly all her terrible actions are water under the bridge. Especially silly since her big issue...was not feeling popular enough. Anyways. That's it for now with this show. I wouldn't be surprised if something like this got a season 2. But I won't exactly be clamoring for one here. Fine, but I'll just move on now that it's over.

The games were kind of dull and they just cheated every time anyways...what was the point in caring about the explanations if that's what it came down to. The girls were cute sometimes, the crazy psycho just did a 180 after she got beaten.
