Which manga should be made into an anime?

1) ...SJG is not a prequel, it's the predecessor to GTO. Then came Bad Company (prequel to SJG), then came GTO which was the last sequel.

2) ...there already is an SJG anime: Five OVA episodes released on VHS during the nineties.

Blade of the Immortal would never happen because the mangaka refuses to let it translate into anime, since he thinks (rightly) that some important element will be lost in translation, as it were.

Which is a bloody shame.



Why hasn't Hayate no Gotoku (Hayate the Combat Butler) been animated yet? I just read the eighth volume and was rolling in laughter, especially at the SOS-Dan references.

Although it is probably never going to happen I would really like to see Berserk redone from the beginning. The original series was great but it only covered up to volume 13 of the manga, and condensed the short first arc into one episode. Another manga I would like to see animated is the old school clamp manga RG Veda. There is an two episode OVA that was done well but it only animated a short section in the middle of the story. I agree with the sentiment towards Blade of the Immortal, I have'nt read much of it, but I think it would make a good series.

Actually there are quite few series that I would like to see continued/remade Biobooster armour guyver being one. How about a Gunsmith Cats TV series or Narutaru series 2??? (We can only hope)

I can relate to that. I had always wondered what it would be like if they ever decided to do a 3x3 Eyes TV series. I mean there is more than enough material to do it. But again that was a freaking loooong-ass series spanning 40 vols. 'Outlanders' or 'Drakun' is another that comes to mind. But 'Drakun' hits on some pretty "risque" stuff in the story based on 'Johji Manabe's tastes. 'Gunsmith Cats' would be good too. But I can only except this provided they get 'Kenichi Sonoda' to do the designs. I will except no other.

Since 'Chrno Crusade' got a release and that was unexpected I would like to see the following as a series if they ever got around to it:

-Ragouden by Itoh Sei
-Dragon Roars by Itoh Sei (should have thought about it during the year 2000)
-Wild Half (now there's a title that was overlooked)

Never read this story but have heard of it:

-Shin Angyo Onshi (though they did do a movie they should delve into the story a little more. Would love to see a series on this adapted from the novels.)

Most definitely seconded. Quite funny and crazy~ And Hayate is simply a character worth sympathizing Can't wait 'til Viz drops the first volume this November.
