Any anime have symphonic soundtracks?

For example, I absolutely love the symphonic portion of the Love Hina soundtrack. Can you guys list some other anime which have symphonic scores to them? I'm guessing not too many anime have the budget for it......

symphonic/orchestral tune---- let me name some...
one classic example is violinist of hameln -- more on classical music though
escaflowne, sousei no aquarion, brain powered --- these are some examples of yoko kanno's music played mostly with symphony orchestra
gundam seed and gundam seed-destiny both have their own symphonic soundtrack played by London symphony orchestra.

Many Studio Ghibli films have symphonic tunes, like Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa and Spirited Away
Blood+ has a powerful orchestral score resembling music from Hollywood movies
X tv has 2 beautiful symphonic pieces, Sadame and Last Battle
Meine Liebe also has lot of orchestral background
Rozen Maiden soundtracks have some songs which are half orchestral and half techno, they make a nice blend though

wow u guys missed the best "soundtrack" anime and thats Princess Tutu! .
The soundtrack is almost 100% classical music and it seems the music was written just for this show. *sigh*

Rurouni Kenshin's OVA had Taku Iwasaki songs. Quiet Life totally rocks. Shingetsutan Tsukihime also had something like that: check out The Selected Moon.

Uh, if the music was written for the show then it can't be classical music.....

I don't like Escaflowne, but I guess I can give Evangelion a watch,,,,

Its more operatic or even like something from church but the op song for Elfen Lied is really good (Lilium).

Eureka 7. Some classical-inspired and also some techno/trance/electronica beats

I've already seen it, but I always thought a symphonic arrangement of the main theme would be amazing.

Just got the Ouran soundtrack, which is nicely pseudo-classical, and seems like it was written by someone who knows their stuff well enough to pastiche classical composers well.

Also, you've got to love a track called "The Powerful Motor Rhapsody For Orchestra"!
