Yay. Dibs on first post again. As again, I haven't watch the episode, but then, this is filler shit. Having watch 80+ filler crap, it doesn't take a genius to see that this is going to be somewhere between thumbs up and thumbs down.

In the canonized story, Naruto only did cleaning chores once. In the filler it's thrice already, and watching Naruto do this the first time is funny (and plausible, since he made the mess in the first place), but watching him do it twice again sucks. SO. NOT. KA-KOE.

As for the filler character, he looks okay... IF this was a Final Fantasy anime. As again, we see naive Naruto making friends with just about every bishonen and bishoujo he meets, only to be shell-shocked when he finds out about his/her history later. How many times does he have to suffer this before some practical shinobi wariness get knocked into his head?

Verdict: 2 out of 5

i like how tsunade just stands there while the hospital is on fire with the babie inside
and not a single person can cast some sort of water jutsu on it?
and whats up with the 3000 knives flying against naruto and his friends and not a single knife hit any of them?

The drawing is pretty crap, is it my eyes or does naruto seem to be fuckn smaller for every eps?

i think this filler story will be good, that dude reminds me of Rey in GSD

I commend this episode for its introduction and presenting the blonde boy as a virtually complete stranger to the eyes of the audience.

Suspension of disbelief is made more effective and realistic with the boy suffering amnesia from the shock and nobody at Konoha can make it known his identity. Fortunately, the boy recalls quite a few, minor flashbacks of the slaughter that happened and pays a strict toll on his sense of guilt.

The parts with Naruto scaring Sakura are also laughable not inclining to the extreme absurd.

What is most likely despicable to me was the fire triggered by a quasi-supernatural cause, e.g. the thunder strucking the roof of the hospital just as the camera switches back and zooms onto the boy; they were like telling that the boy was a bad omen.

Why they couldn't pull out a more believable cause for the fire? For example, having the electric system short-circuited.

Not a bad filler ep at all!

What I'm assuming is some sort of power boost from Menma (?was that it?) and his ocarina gave us a few juicy frames of Naruto nailing it through the forest at high speed.

It was sort of nostalgic of the real speed and power some pre filler episodes were delivered at. Makes me salivate for February.

Menma seems a pretty good filler character as well. Hes almost worthy of a non filler character.

The hour special should offer some good fight scenes of regular characters enhanced not to mention the revealing of Menma's full ability.

I gave it 3 stars for that shot where Sakura is lookin ridiculous at the hospital.

you know.. ive been puking since last year when i started watchin naruto fillers.. im so dissappointed with these series.. luckily it will end soon i would rate every episode with 1 * :-P

Why would you be disappointed with the series when fillers are expected to be bad?

Not Bad Filler for me 3*. Ocarine of Power Up ? It can be interesting :P but let's look how they end this, Menma probably has his memory, but he didn't want to say about it and this ninja who had attacked Naruto Remind me Oro :P

this mema filler reminds of this chinese wuxia drama i watch a few years back, the guy with the same flute as menma can call out dragons and his family was in charge of these dragon balls that could give them power, and same plot and all the dude had amnesia also.

ya know...I wish they'd come up w/ some different flute designs! freakin generic crap, pretty much the same damn flute you see in the 13th DBZ movie as well!

Other than that, this was a decent episode...

Stopped watching the episode halfway. I could have sworn I've seen an episode like this about 5 times in the fillers. Not worth my time.
