episode 4 was so damn funny its not hard to figure out what Nodames weakness is. I mean if you have some good food she is putty in your hands. The new conductor is such a pervert its really amazes me. Whats even more amazing is that Nodome likes Chiaki so much and doesnt want him to go overseas that she might actually do the unthinkable, of i dont Chiaki would let that happen. Milch Holstein is a mystery i really want to know what makes him such a good conductor.
Ironically Nodame is thinking of kissing that ol dirty bastard to keep Chiaki in Japan not knowing that hes affraid of traveling. Kudos to Chiaki for keeping Nodame out of Milch Holstein clutches. Of course it didnt turn out how Nodame has imagined. I still find it funny Nodame still refers to Chiaki as her boyfriend.

Hm. After watching Episodes 4 and 5 you can see they did their best to make
it seem like Stresemann had no redeeming qualities at all yet by the end of episode 5 you can see there is apparently some method to his madness. I still don't think things bode well though - he's up to something. And another thing. Chiaki claims he has no interest in Nodame but when she plays her piano he gets a wistful look on his face, he's very impressed with her musical skills - he get downright protective of her at times. Thoughts on future shows: Spoiler:

Another chapter missing from the anime, i really don't understand why - they've already announced that the anime would last 23 episodes, so i thought they would need to add these chapters in.
Ah well, episode 05 was pretty good. Sakura was just as small in the anime, so that made my day seeing her cute lil' self in action. & yay for Mine's wonderful t-shirt logo, good to see that in color.

Can't believe I missed this series until now. I recall coming across it earlier and being interested because it was about classical music students (perfect match for me), but I forgot about it. Seen up to episode 3, as a comedy I love it so far.

Just dropping in to say I am really enjoying this series. The funniest anime I have watched since Azumanga Daioh.
Those Gyabos sound great; I bet they rumble throughout the campus. Nodame also has some incredible lines. One of my faves from the very first episode: "That's the first time I've been compared to a mammal." |

I didn't think I would like anime Milch as much as his drama counterpart, since things don't get much funnier than a Japanese guy in a wig pretending to be a foreigner... but I actually really like Milch in the anime. It’s much more believable that he is actually a foreigner so things make more sense, I guess.

Am I the only one who was surprised Chiaki didn't express any interest in playing one of Sakura's father's violins? When else would he get the chance to play a Strad? Even if he were angry at the father, wouldn't part of him have wanted to at least touch those instruments, if not play them?
I guess Sakura and her mother didn't know about the secret room, either. Boy I bet his wife was pissed when she came home that day from her part-time job. Thank you, C1.
