It should help you along your way to sanding and painting kits.
Don't suppose anyone has a direct download link to this file? Bitorrent is not being my friend at the moment.

Had anyone got any hints on how to strip primer. I'm not happy with the way one model turned out, the primer has this funky grainy texture. Managed to strip the paint using oven cleaner, but the primer is still there

Use some high grit sand paper, about 3000, dip it into some water and lightly sand the surface. This will smooth out everything.

The tracking goes down every now and again. I've been seeding this, and I have a few other friends that have been seeding this and will continue to seed this until I come up with the newer version. But right now I can see about 7 people connected and downloading. Let me know if you still cannot download it. I'm using bittorrent because this is a 1.6gb file. It'll take too much bandwidth and storage space to have a single dedicated server to hold the thing.

Yeah, didn't realize it was so large. Don't suppose it's possible to break it up into separate files and upload it? Probably too much trouble. I'll try bittorrent again, maybe it'll work this time. At least I hope so, I have a new kit on the way and I'd love some help with it.

The first version I had was about 100mbs this is the second version. I plan to make even more improvements and eventually it'll probably fill a dvd sized disk.

It looks kind of flat and undetailed without it. Paint gives it "depth" and detail as weird as that sounds. For a comparison see this link, a Little bit of effort goes a long way.

Look at the detail here
http://www.dannychoo.com/gallery_the...r+Busy+People/

vs
the detail of this

http://images.google.com.au/imgres?i...3D6ow%26sa%3DN

now they are different models but the truth of the matter is a PG is something that needs to be detailed IMO, it's not cheap like MG kits. It s bgger and has a whole lot of details that need to brought out with some effort

I always think it's a waste if you get a PG and don't paint it. You already spent so much money on it already..Might as well make it as nice as possible right.

You should try using http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/index.html instead. They're reliable (except that shipping takes ~21 days if you choose EMS) and it's around $10-20 cheaper than a lot of other stores (not counting http://www.hlj.com).
