Hey, if the script can get Suzaku and Zero to openly cooperate for an episode, why can't Kallen and Zero openly be in conflict for an episode or two?

I would have a hard time believing that Zero's agenda can waver anywhere else besides the Japan's liberation for the exact same reason Kallen can't change over. It goes against his entire character of trying to protect Nanally.

And there was already an episode like that, remember when Mao kidnapped Nanally? Same goes for why Kallen and Zero can't be in conflict because they're pretty much locked in to their corresponding sides. If any one would change sides it would be Suzaku, and that's not saying much.

IMHO, his agenda will be the liberation of Japan for two more episodes, tops. Then he'll get back to his real mission: destroying Brittania by killing the royal family.

That was Suzaku helping Lulu -- we know those two get along just fine. I'm referring to Episode 20, when Suzaku accepts Zero's help. (Sure, they're the same person, but not in Suzaku's head.)

I'm just waiting for Zero to ask Suzaku to stay in the United States of Japan and "work within the system" to make it better.

there isnt much to wyne about in this sction since there are about 2 people here that have said that they would like the suxlu choice, me and the person above me, this section is still rulled by the normal pairings and isnt over taken by yaoi fangirls, though i wouldnt mind THAT much, but still dont wyne about one post lol

And yeah, I agree, I hate brainless heteroism too. If they MUST have a romance in the show, it should be well thought out and not tacked on, like most harem animes/shounen/shoujo series.

Clamp is a big fan of early done-deal romance. They usually set the couple as cannon up front and develop the story to obstruct/develop the love. If you found a couple on front cover of first DVD/manga then its pretty much cannon from them, the word destiny, fate, princess etc.. are pretty much the red flag for cannon couple... You can probably come up with a dozen examples here..

Sunrise, in the other hand, recently begins to twist the cannon coupling theme. Gundum Seed D, Asuran's couple comes up into mind... with some random Mai-X etc..

None of the producers have done same sex coupling before. There are several moments in some anime from Clamp where you have ManXMax hype, but they do not go upto kissing nor beyond. Sunrise never took ManXMan, they do however have soft girlXgirl... Judging from studio's history, I don't believe Luluche x Susaku where the fan girl are hoping for will ever happen. Sure they are FRIEND, but heck... you will never see them start kissing in this anime.

Back to man x woman. The cannon couple according to my eye is actually CC and Luluche. Does not mean they will live happily ever after at the end of the show, it is just what I feel they will actually develop. (Probably end up sadly, its the theme of this anime after all).

Er...Maybe not most,but a fraction of Chinese bbs girls.In China,we call BL as LULU and SUZAKU(BL=boy's love)^_^Of course,girl's love calls GL.
Maybe because of more and more BL drama and more and more BL or GL manga,more and more chinese girls like BL in manga^_^||
