Help Wanted
Hey, My name is Dman4Life and I'm posting an URGENT Help wanted for a group I help out in. So here are the Details
Positions:Translator, Timers, Encoders Group:Minor Ja Nai Project(s):Major, Hikari No Densetsu, Cross Game IRC Channel:#minor_ja_nai on irc.highway.net IRC Contact: Dman4Life, Athie, Athanor, Techman_16, Sosero, Kakashi[SQ] E-Mail: Dman4Life8017@yahoo.com[Dman], athanor@nomade.fr[Athanor/Athie] We appreciate any help you can give us be it being a Translator, Timer, Encoder yourself, or throwing us the information of anyone you may know who may be interested in the job. Requirements for Translators are as follows: Being proficient in Japanese, Attempt to cut down on the literal translations as much as possible, or clarify what the english equivilant would be. Doing this in a timely fashion 3-5 days after a raw is received. Good communication between the editors is a must. This is a non-paying job, as we're doing it for the love for the anime we put out. We are running slim on the positions listed, and any help would be greatly appreciated in speeding up our efforts in releasing said projects and possibly expanding and starting more. |

of Corona Subs
|
Positions: Translators and Quality Checkers
Group: Corona Subs Current Projects: Akikan! (w/ Higure Subs) Future Projects: Tayutama ~kiss on my deity~, plus anything suggested by the translator Contact: PM Zurenriri or HCl or Omegaspirit on IRC ( #corona @ irc.rizon.net ) or on our forums at ( http://corona.animatedchaos.org/forum ). You can also apply via e-mail by sending a message to coronasubs [[át]] gmail [[dót]] com Unless I'm mistaken, Corona Subs is the only group planning to sub this anime. If you want to see this wonderful-looking animation subbed in excellent quality, in both H264 and XviD, please help us out. We currently have no translator and therefore have no means of producing fansubs for this anime. You will receive recognition for your work, this I guarantee! Unless the translator has other wishes, Tayutama ~kiss on my deity~ is to be Corona's only new project for the Spring 2009 season. Thank you very much for reading this, and I hope you consider our group. With utmost sincerity, Zurenriri |

Help wanted for subtitling
Position(s): English Correctors, Timing Checkers
Project(s): Candy Candy TV Series Status website: http://daniellippert.ch/candycandy/candycandy.html E-Mail: usabell@gmx.net ICQ: 121969045 MSN: usabell@gmx.de AIM: Usabellchen YIM: Usabell12 I have been working for some time now to start this up and even though there seems to be a large demand for this I had not much luck in getting help so far, so I am trying to get a few people with good English language knowledge to gather to make this happen earlier ˆ-ˆ What we need are people to correct spelling and grammar mistakes as well as some minor engrish-y text passages in .srt files and test the timings if they are all correct. I will take care of encoding and the rest that needs to be done. We are already two people but we could need some assistance to make it happen faster. Thanks for your time reading through this. If you are interested just drop me a mail Last edited by Usa; 2009-04-11 at 08:13. Reason: Added web URL and messengers |

So, 07-Ghost, our spring show, is pretty much set. We have every position given down. What we're lacking at the moment is someone who can make decent karaokes. I would like to have someone else, someone beside myself aboard who has at least more than a year of knowledge. Samples of your work might be asked. Thanks for reading. - Akaku Atelier-Thryst Productions

So I'm getting back on the anime bandwagon and I thought I'd offer my services here if anyone's interested in an editor.
(British) English is my first language. I have a degree in Classics for any show that chooses to mangle Latin and Greek in any way, shape or form. I worked for Seichi Fansubs back in the day on Kaze no Yojimbo, Matantei Loki and endless episodes of Rockman EXE; I also translated, timed, typeset etc. the first two episodes of Noein on my own, and most recently edited briefly for KissSubs on Natsu no Sora, so I know how the editing gig works. Although I work full-time I'm a fast worker, an excellent speller (knowing my luck there'll be a spelling mistake in this post now...) I'd be particularly interested in working on Higashi no Eden, Hanazakeru Seishounen...basically serious stuff, quirky shows, or shoujo/josei. I know everyone and his wife tries to be an editor so I'm sure that there's no-one who'll need one, but if you are looking for any help then PM me here or e-mail me at (my AnimeSuki user name)@ass-no-ryu.com. I'm fine with using IRC for subbing work but I don't hang around as a rule. Cheers! |
