The aftermath.
Migi saying goodbye. Guess Shinichi finally gets to be normal. His thoughts were pretty deep and interesting. So the drama wasn't over just yet. Oh he was so lucky to make that save. Being slightly more than human certainly came in handy. Good final episode.

dang, thought Murano was actually gonna there.
But he managed to make the save this time. Liked that it was vague on if the hand stretched or if he just imagined himself missing. Parasytes are blending much better in society, the line about how crime is on the rise left a slightly creepy feel to everything. I really liked the dream sequence and when Migi asked how Shinichi saw him

I'll give the show props, I did wonder for a while what might happen. Once she went over I was 90% sure that Migi was going to save the day, but you just never know.
Good that more or less Migi is keeping an eye out so when Shinichi needed some help he was there to assist. Interesting how things worked out with the Parasites. I'm sure after the big slaughter many determined they had better decided what to do or else be annihilated. Openly challenging humanity is a death sentence. Now instead of monsters killing tons of people it's like having a slight influx in serial killers. Unfortunate, but could be worse I guess. This show just can't end without a bit of chaos. The only real threat was when the guy had a hostage. Shinichi is again, basically a superhero in terms of combat ability. So this guy wasn't a direct threat to him, just to people around him. What a warped guy though. On the positive side the attempted killings did put an end to Shinichi's philosophical monologues. A bit of that is fine, but I thought he'd never stop ![]()

A pretty solid adaptation. I wish they could have spent a bit more budget on the action scenes in the last couple of episodes though.
Also, it's always hilarious to watch anime side characters walk to their deaths so nonchalantly. The dude sees a guy holding a knife and approaches him without a thought as to the situation. |

A pretty good ending to an a great series. Intersting conculsion to the Paraiste problem. They are not gone but it could be worst. It's like the earth gained several more serial killers.
Wondering how they would deal with the serial killer but he got taken out. He is not even a threat to Shinchi just to his loved ones. I like how Shinchi just gives the message of this series straight without leaving things vague or up to interpertation.

I'd agree though, I'm glad that Parasyte was so direct with its themes and musings. There's plenty to praise about the show, but the narrative style is definitely a highlight. |

Really good last episode.
Althought I wonder why that serial killer guy would risk exposing himself and loosing his freedom. He should have moved into the country side or something. And so Murano knows his secret but just doesnt need to talk about it? |

So I want to know why the cops aren't even searching for the serial killer since I'm sure they know he had escaped. I really thought Murano was gonna die there, but I guess Migi will always be there to lend a "hand" when it needs to. Those two randoms sure were unlucky, even more so than Shinichi. In the end though, Shinichi and Murano still annoys the shit out of me in a way I can't really describe.
