Minatsuki was just awesome in this chapter. Loved the last page of her hallucination, she's as polite as ever

Seeing her and Chaplin's pasts was interesting. I didn't expect them to defeat their opponent so easily though.

We already knew most of minatsuki's past, so I was less interested in that.

Chaplin's past on the other hand, was new and really caught my interest.

Spoiler for Chaplin:

His boyfriend was a gold-digger who, from the sounds of it wasn't even gay. There were a couple of lines that hinted poor Chaplin didn't even get any. Poor guy.

The fact that he killed a person wasn't shocking, but the fact that it was an accident done in anger really shows that he isn't a violent killer.

He gained points in my book for this.

He needed (painful) help to snap ut of it, but I think this has helped him grow as a person too. by finally realising that even his is a life with good points too.

By the way, isn't He a transvestite and not a trans-sexual?

Gay chapter is gay Very nice chapter, finally some backstory on Chaplin! His past is dramatic enough to pass as a DW prisoner, but objectively speaking, Minatsuki had it tougher...if it wasn't for her vicious personality, she would have snapped years ago. Or maybe it was because of that incident that she became like that? At any rate, the butterfly girl was rather weak, maybe it's better this way, since not all enemies need a background. Looking forward to the old man's fight, wonder how his daughter's doing...

I'm really starting to like Minatsuki. Anyway the current arc almost seems like the last one as there aren't that many villains left to fight and most of the stuff could be wrapped up in explanations.

The whole point is that the director of DW is creating new villans to fight for Ganta. I think DW is far from over... Much of the connection between Shirou and Ganta is still left unexplained and the Red Man hasn't shown up for a while.

Minatsuki is the most awesome yandere I have ever seen in any anime or manga! Possibly because of her lack of 'dere', but hey ... I don't mind that.

I while ago I wondered what that 'DSMK' above Senji's eye meant. Now I know...

Great chapter! Senji took the man down like a boss! The big blade was pretty darn awesome. For the entirety of the chapter with Senji's blades breaking. I wondered whether or not he could collect and re-use his blood on the floor. Sorta like the old man with the insomnia and fire powers did. I half expected that Senji would make those blades on the floor and stab the scorpion dude with that, but he didn't. The huge blade was pretty awesome too!

Was I the only one to see the irony in Senji fighting someone who was on doping? Considering how much Senji works out?

We first have
-ganta get some kinda powerup (what's up with parents experimenting on their kids all the time)
-touching flashback ending with a confession between ganta and shiro
-we're getting Mr. SeeminglyOverpoweredBossmanThatHasEveryone'sPowers in the mix
-a smile that doesn't bode well for anybody

I got really into this chapter despite not reading this series for what feels like forever...nice.

Ganta finally remembered his meeting with Shiro, and the two confessed their love for each other... really sweet. Unfortunately, the wretched egg awakens right after! Next chapter should be VERY interesting.

Aside from that, Madoka's branch of sin was pretty cool, and Mockingbird is insanely creepy.

With mister emo out of the way, Ganta's focus turns to Shiro...the lovers' part was sweet, but the egg awakening right at the end of the chapter was SWEEET! ...if you know what I mean
