It is indeed a tough theme. I'm liking the look of yours though. Personally, I would take off the bevel and emboss effect on the arrows.

Maybe its cuz the girl takes up most of the space but it seems a bit plain for me. Nice use of arrows though.

@ Naoto it do look better, but would it be more logical if the arrow wher pointing another way , at the outside ?

For those than are still searching some inspirations for this theme, I belive than Nue Houjuu would fit the theme.

Uhh.. pretty sure that's the hole point. The girl in the middle is Naoto looking for herself from what I see.

But the text on the sig say ''which way to go'' not ''where am I''.

@ganbaru and felix: thanks for your help, but the girl in the middle isn't me (maybe my friend ) and she get lost on the way to my home XD I think if I put all arrows pointing at the middle, it will be harder for her to find out where my home is (and I think it's still logical because she is finding my home, not traveling), and it makes her more outstanding because all the arrows point at her.
(if she can find out my home, i don't know what will happen... )

here's the v2



*fixed the white part by rendering (white part was caused by the outer glow effect/bevel)

*removed the arrow body (that looks like a fishbone )

Yeah, looks better, I still complain about the red light on the girl's eye tough.

I like it a lot, I would just get rid of the bebel efectr on the blody arrows.

Hey all! I haven't been using photoshop for a long time now and figured I should get back on this band wagon =) This is my first entering SOTM.

Anyways... I didn't have many ideas, but hopefully this will suffice =P



Feel free to C&C? ^^ I feel bad because it looks so much better in HQ but then it'd be about 120 kb haha =P Maybe next time I'll just make it smaller in size =X

Well, don't let the filesize limits trouble you too much. After some practice you'll be able to find a nice balance between quality and size. *nods*

For critiquing, I can't find much to comment on since the entry is fairly abstract. The perspective of the bottom arrow feels wrong though, shouldn't the pointer be larger than the base?

It took me a moment to find the arrows honestly. Maybe make them a little less subtle.
