This is definitely one of the funnier episodes from the series. I can't count the number of times I laughed during the episode. The part where everyone (except Maka and Tsubaki) goes bonkers due to exam stress was hilarious.

Studying for a test is far more entertainign when your watching others do it .

Maka taking this like a major event even with the weird drinks. Soul's studying seemed fairly normal aside from Blair's involvement . Black Star may not learn anything, but he'll apparently be in even better shape by the time this is over. Physical training every time he can't solve something. Just love Tsubaki tieing him up while she went to take a bath Kid working on drawings more than actual studying. The sisters are doing their thing .

Haha that test was a complete disaster. Maka and Tsubaki actually did fine with Maka completely owning that test. Black Star, Patty, Liz, Kid, and Soul had a really bad time with it. Black Star didn't take the test period since his stealth steal earned him getting beaten close to death. Would have been better to just stay and study and get some food by Tsubaki . Kid couldn't even write his name....and the rest ran into a varying degree of disaster.

Next week looks interesting with apparently Death the Kid related episode. Up against Chrona which hopefully will go better than with Maka.

Just so people don't get confused... DS only gave Blair money to buy a gift for Maka. She ended up buying something for herself and then used her magic to shrink it once she realized what she had done.

Did think enough that if he tried to give her something directly she'd just turn it down. But clearly giving the money to the cat wasn't a great strategy. Poor guy has no idea .

-seriously I could watch Stein fall out of this chair all day, gag never gets old for me
-Kid pleading with Liz (omg he sounded so much like Tamaki)

All the characters in Soul Eater are deliciously adorable, and this episode was full of it.
I find these characters infinitely more cute than dime-of-the-mill moe shows.

That drink looks like aojiru.
Aojiru is a traditional healthy energy drink in Japan, made of squeezed veggies.

It tastes absolutely HORRIBLE (that's why Blair seems to be horrified watching her gulp it down) but it has crap loads of nutrition and can energize you back on your feet. It's quite healthy, just disgusting. They even ran a TV ad for an aojiru product, where the actor screamed how terrible it tasted. Yeah, tastes terrible, but good for you was actually a selling point.

Now why would a girl going to school in Nevada, USA be drinking a traditional Japanese veggie drink, and even the cat knows what it is?

Well, we're supposed to not think about that.

Reminds me of those Buckley's commercials. Working under the assumption that good medicine is supposed to taste bad. So since it tastes awful theirs must be some of the best around . I'd rather just go with what tastes good and suffer what ills are the result.
