Hahaha, this was awesome. The animation seems to have improved a bit from the previous seasons, and the setting was hilarious. I especially liked the part right after the lightning hit and there were just the blast scars where the heroes were. Obviously this kind of show wouldn't do that, but it looked like they had been unceremoniously killed off.

Scarlet Knight (S1 OP) and Fearless Hero (S2 OP) are imho some of Nana Mizuki's most awesome anisongs to date, and pretty much made the OPs unskippable for me.

um that ED, why is are chibi Cinque, Ghaul, & Valeri look out of character by running, jumping, & climbing on all of the girls like they're hills or something, note that one of them is freaking Valeri for crying out loud, & they only stopped to look at sleeping Milhi?

I know we always complain about Engrish in our japanese cartoons, but when we finally get to hear proper English (much less British English) it always strikes me as being incredibly uncanny.
I wasn't thinking about how we were lucky to be getting a proper English speaker for once; my immediate thoughts progressed from "This Cardiff guy sounds nothing like a Welsh" and "A sports announcer and he sounds so incredibly flat" to "Why is the pronunciations of their names so incredibly awkward?" |

I think the reason they were able to pull off something like this for this episode is because Seven Arcs has had experience working with foreign VA's before - Donna Burke and Kevin England are two examples of such who has worked for them before, as the voices of Raising Heart and Bardiche respectively. Maybe they decided they should let their English-speaking actors do the scripts instead of having them pronounce English-wannabe scripts
