Well, I believe that Volume 5 was dealing with Kyouko evading from jail, which explains her presence and Dai-sensei's.

Ayumu was surprised to see Kyouko, but I guess he did what other protagonists do; he lived up with it.

Does Hiramitsu (the twin-tailed girl) get a larger role later on? I found it interesting how she went without a name in season 1, then suddenly she gets a prviate conversation with Ayumu and her own name starting in season 2.

^ I thought I read somewhere (maybe this forum) that she starts hanging around him more and starts trying to get his attention(becomes a rival for the others?). I remember someone saying that she was helping with the work on Nene's doujin.

Well, yeah, Taeko kinda gets more coverage. Though Orito and his BL situation really made Nene's volume, IMO.

1) how many BL moments does Orito do? Is he straight or gay? It's really hard to grasp that based on everything I read about him.

2) She seems to be border line in her treatment to Ayumu IMO. She seems to love him, but will turn against him when a situation turns in her favor like in vol. 9.

3) I thought that it was a sword at first, But I think you're right. It does look like an umbrella on closer inspection.

NO freaking way. I knew that he did some BL, but I thought that it was unintentional. Orito did know what Nene was talking about right? Oh man I'd hate to be Ayumu at that time. I can see why People in school don't really like him that much, he is a bit creepy(don't mean to offend anyone).

P.S. don't worry about spoiling. The anime may go over this at some point; and knowing what happens later in the story never ruins it for me.

I have to say that if Orito was a girl, than it would be pretty romantic. I'll check again to see if it wasn't simply Ayumu's dream, since he woke up hearing this and fell asleep immediately after.
