Which version of Photoshop are you using? I'm using Photoshop CS2. Some older version of Photoshop aren't compatible with the newer Brushes.

I quickly recorded how to use a brush. It's 1 min... Follow it step by step... if you still can't get it to work. Tell us the part that you don't get and what isn't happening that is happening on the video

It means that person hosted 2 or more signatures on a site. And put the forum code as their sig and every time the page is refreshed their sig changes.

I hope that made some sense. ^^;

Got a ques and didnt see this in the first post. Ive seen ppl in some of the sub forums submit anime scans and ask others to "clean" them. You know remove the text and what not. How is this done without removing the color? Case in point...

http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1197572113

I want to remove the text from that scan but keep it intact. Can someone direct to a link or help me out a bit ^^

I'm not absolutely certain, but I'm fairly sure that the only way to get rid of the text (besides obtaining the raw image from the copyright holders themselves) is to paint over it. Most common tool used for this job is probably the Clone Stamp tool.

@White Manju Bun: The trick is you replace the texture+text with similar texture from other parts of the image. Like Riker said, using the clone stamp tool.

Is there another easier way to cut the character out from background beside using pens tool and brush that is stated at first page

What i means is like i already cut out the character from the background .. but i couldn't finish it that day so i just leave the render there .. but when i reopen it .. i use the magic wand tool to click on the picture .. it just simply select the whole picture including the transparent background.

Do stuff partway? You can always do half quick mask, then exit .. copy the selected part and paste it on new layer on top .. then, do another part .. then another until you are done.. After that, just merge every part together .. (just dont merge the original layer - with BG back )

There are no easier way after quickmask.. well, if you exclude eraser tool that is

You can try lasso tool, but the result have never satisfied me, and believe me, I've experimented with a lot of extraction way...channel calculation, color range selection etc etc..

Nice first creations...just a side note though:

She looks like she's covered in some kind of viscous liquid.....*shudders* ok, so my imagination is running wild, but you should try some other effect on her. I'd also be curious to see how you use brushes in your second and third one for making a more textured background.
And sheesh, the renders are so.....(blushes for staring) I'm a girl! Where are the seductive guy images, huh?!

Thats a pretty nice start there Lycans :3 The smudge work is pretty interesting. All you need now is practice, look at a few tutorials to get some ideas - etc
