Well that was certainly interesting.

Alois backstory was pretty damn as we expected. He's been pretty damn twisted since his Mother died, though you can'e blame him after having to live a life like that. What happened to his little Brother was always very sad, especially with the "Yes, my highness" line having so much meaning to it.

Claude killing Alois at the end there was certainly an eye opener, even if the scene was building upto it. There was another eye opener with Grell 'joining' Claude. That won't last long, i'm sure . We also learn that Hannah is a demon.. which does explain a lot! God do i want to know her backstory, though i'm sure we'll get to it in time. The big question at the moment is what the hell did she do to Alois in the scene after the ED? It can't be the end of Alois i'm sure, so it'll be mighty interesting see what will happen next.

& yes, Alois fanservice delivered.

No idea what to make of that preview. It's pretty damn crazy.

Wow, what an episode! Alois, or should I say Jim McCain's past was pretty heavy. Turns out that kid was actually his brother, and not just a friend. The rest was more or less what I expected.

I knew Alois' death was coming, yet I couldn't help but relax when Claude saved him. Alois signed his death warrant when he revealed his true wish to him: all he wanted was for someone to love him and stay by his side, he never truly cared about revenge. Claude has no interest in eating such a soul, thus he'll use it another way. I wonder what he's planning to do exactly.

Aw how sad for Alois to die..I'm not sure what to think about Claude though hes more of a balancing act for me on liking him.

I think that Claude killed Alois, was just to save his soul against grell. and I'm sure Hannah makes a new contract with alois that's why she poked his eye out, i think she stayed by Alois site because of a contract with luca in the past, the contract said that she has to stay by his site when Luca dies. I don't hate claude as so many do now, it's foolish...

the most hate him probably now. because people just need a "evil guy" to blame him for everything that happens and which they don't like, then they move their pieces and only to see what they want to see, but if they would turn the chess board over ( include Battler here xDDDD )
and look again they would be able to notice so many things that seem bad , but them are actually the opposite. for sample it's like I said , when Grell would taken Alois Soul , he had died too. and much more painful. if Grell had used his chainsaw


then everyone would blame Claude as well because he didn't "save" his master , although they would have more reason to hate Grell then or the one that decided which souls are taken, so if you ask me, I would have done the same as Claude in that situation, though it might be true that it was really cruel because of Alois "confession" toward Claude. but even so people wake up , there i no reason to hate claude just by yet, maybe he's not only bad and maybe he's really just the bad one ( which I wouldn't be surprised at ) because it was shown right from the first episode of season 2 , that Claude is different then Sebastian he is more I call it ( demonic ) then Sebastian, Sebastian developed indeed more feelings then a usual demon, as we can see when he stopped Ciel from hitting Elizabeth, Claude didn't stopped Alois doing anything ( as for sample when he abuses Hannah, ) that makes clearly that he didn't developed Human Emotions just yet instead to Sebastian

I also think that Claude is might behind the killing of the whole village, if I think back about it Claude often says that sentence , "that's the butlers trancy" I think...not sure at the correct line. but if this is true, why does he say the plural?
that means there must been more butlers to trancy but the way that claude says it makes it seem like their were more demon butlers . so maybe actually the former head of Trancy is behind all killing and Claude just followed the contract.or maybe it was really luca which I believe more

also why would Sebastian go so far and even disobey Ciel all of a sudden ? why would he betray the only one that he "cares" for? it's highly possible that this is a way of demons, to deal with human emotions, and that is some kind of weakness for the other Demons I guess. also Claude said something similar to Sebastian in EP 7.
, also I believe that Ciel and Alois will either die in the last episode or they get revenge for the butler's betrayal .

Well a few things went through my mind when I was watching this episode. Some of them are random, others are well..expected
1. Alois (or shall I say Jim McCain) wears what I think is, lip gloss. Did anyone eles notice this? Right before he goes to see his dad, when he is getting ready, he rubs his lips with his finger making them shinier. That made me smile.

2. Grell is back, bebe! I missed Grell. He added a special layer of awesomeness to every episode he is in. What can I say, I'm a Grell fan girl. XD

3. Hannah actually has a purpose in this episode. She isn't just fanservice like she is in every other episode, except maybe at the end when she is going up to Alois's corspe. It ripped in a way that showed like HALF the boob. Very sneaky writers, very sneaky.

4. This one is kinda important. I actually understand why Alois acts (acted?) like he does (did?) His past is very depressing. Especially with his little brother. If I was Alois, I would just kill Sebastian immediatly, although, his plan sounds good too, haha.

5. I can't believe Alois died. Well atleast, I think he died. I'm not sure. In the preview, there was little hints of him in there doing something (AKA not being dead) so I can't be completely sure.

There was obviously more I thought of, (like, "hmm I feel like waffle" during the part when Hannah gets chainsaw'd. lol) but this what I felt was most important.

Well...it isn't 100% certain that Alois is dead...he did survive a sword through the chest and later on Hannah did whatever it was she did (wierd demon magic stuff) talking about fulfilling his wish, which was to bring him to Ciel (that "Take me! rub rub innuendo~ Take me to Phantomhive!!" scene).

So maybe he isn't dead. Or maybe she took his soul with her (what else was she doing hovering over him?)..

Or maybe I missed something TT.TT

I think Claude took some part of him when he removed the ring. Kinda makes sense considering Ciel only came back after Sebby put the ring on him. Whether it was his soul or not we'll get an answer too probably soon.

I spent the entire episode saying, "WTF Claude". The first time I've ever been able to predict an event from a preview and heck, it was painful to see it actually taking place. The OP featuring both Ciel and Alois is back, kinda not surprising. And now the ED (by Yuya Matsushita) makes me cry.

A real surprise for you manga fans, the second coolest Shinigami (on my list Grell comes first and William is pretty much "meh" now) Ronald Knox blasted out of nowhere with his awesome lawnmower death scythe. Never saw that coming at all.

I bet you thought I was gonna say more, eh? Well, nope, you'll have to see the rest for yourself!

we don't know really if Alois really lost both eyes even though it looks like it.
and also we thought the same from Ciel in Season 1 everyone believed Ciel would die.
but yeah the fact that Claude finished Alois makes it more look like he had been really bad injured by it

but who knows maybe Hannah is really a demon-god like vallkyrie they can use healing power , remember the strange wind that appeared when she did ( whatever she did ) to Alois Eyes??
( I beat she really has a power to heal and repeair things, that also explains why her Maid dress is always new >D )
if she has a healing power she might healed Alois eyes? that way it's really possible his body will be saved,
and if that is the case then Claude knew about it, and that's why he didn't cared to kill Alois. because he knew Hannah being able to heal him??
maybe she even lies about her second eye being still lost? we never saw her without the bandage ONCE Alois had gouged it out after all...omg maybe he even knew about her healing power as well...

also did you notice in the new episode? when Ciel is taken away there is a scene where it seems like someone watching the whole thing from the window.
maybe that's just the camera view but still it looked somehow as someone else watched them.
also when Sebastian found Ciel laying on the ground. don't you think he laid there like Luca did?

That was a great episode. It was painful to witness Ciel's brainwashing, especially since it happened right when he was about to recover his memory. It's really sad to see Ciel manipulated like this in this season, first by Sebastian, and now by Claude. It should be very interesting to see him interact with the Trancy servants next week, especially if he's kept his original personality (I think so). Anyhow, that's quite a cunning plan Claude came up with, Sebastian was completely outwitted (boy, was he pissed at the end of the ep).

Oh Hannah, how many maid uniforms have you torn up by now? Might be more convenient to just walk around naked. It looks like she may actually be more powerful than we thought, I have a feeling she's going to double cross the other demons at some point. Claude spinning on the table at the beginning of the episode was hilarious

What a great episode. As much as I couldn't wait for this one, I can't wait for the next episode. I am so interested in how Sebby is going to handle this. I feel really sorry for Ciel. He's gonna be so screwed up now. :/ I hope he goes completely back to normal, as unrealistically-convenient-to-the-plot as that sounds.

I loved the, "Kids should play at home!" , "You're a kid yourself!" bit. As tiny of a joke it was, it made me chuckle. And I also thought that all of those birds gathering on Claude's shoulders was really funny for some reason, lol.

You've really done it now, Claude - you've tainted dear Ciel's beautiful soul with Alois' icky, trampy one. And not only that, seriously pissed off Sebastian in the process. I wouldn't give much for your chances at this point.
