Ok btwn this and Yona 22 and I cannot take anymore awesome...seriously the entire 2nd part was just insane. Man Jericho's brother really messed her up. Figured Hendrickson wasn't dead but didnt expected him to come back looking like that. Man was hoping Merlin would stick around longer.

Ok how manys epis left and we're still short 1 Sin correct?

It's understandable how much dislike Ban has garnered for his action but I actually felt really sorry for him, especially when he said he's cut off from the one he truly loves in this world and the next for eternity. You can hear the pain in his voice and the despair when he asked if Hawk (or anyone) can actually kill him; it's pretty obvious he'd rather welcome death in order to see Elaine than have to kill his best friend. No, I actually don't hate him for choosing to do what he did against Meliodas; if anything, I feel bad for him - it's a no win situation for Ban.

I can't remember but why does Jericho dislike (or compete) with her brother so much?

I don't think Hendrikson is entirely there anymore; I think the demon blood probably took over his mind.

I do think they did a solid job getting across the hellish situation Ban has found himself in. Kind of brings me back to what Elaine asked him in regards to "what if you lived forever and nothing good happened to you?" In a sense he's right in that situation. Being a member of the Sins is fun and distracting. But it's just distracting. Once that distraction fades he's left with the reality of eternal separation. If I was stuck in that situation...not sure what I'd do.

I appreciated the fact that out of anyone there Meliodas was the one who got it. He could understand Ban's feelings on that issue. Already know he lost someone he cared a lot for and now Elizabeth is in grave danger. He's not going to roll over and die, but he understands.

If I remember right she felt he looked down on her for being female or thought she wasn't qualified to be a holy knight, something on those lines. With Jericho's temper hard to tell how seriously he was putting her down. At the very least doesn't seem like their relationship was ruined. He clearly didn't want her to die and was worried about her and she'd prefer to get killed before she killed her brother.

Seeing a naked Jericho makes me realize just how tiny she is haha. I really hope Dreyfus didn't die just like that.

Episode 23 is quite violent for an early evening show. Heads getting ripped off.

Suspicion of Elizabeth being more than she seems is revealed.

This episode just flew by so fast. One (or two) more episode(s) to go?

A lot going on with this episode, certainly fitting with how purely powerful Hendrickson has made himself. Was fun seeing Ban just beat up the previous version of Hendrickson which fit because he did kill the red demon that version was created from. Then of course he spent the rest of the episode getting blasted into pieces so he couldn't actually fight.

What the move by Hawk there. A silly character making the heroic sacrifice that helped save them all and trigger Elizabeth's abilities. Really going into god mode there. Though the key was pretty well healing everyone and giving them a chance, but they are still up against a monster. Oh and hey Veronica is alive....that happened

A pretty messy character and quite a few holy knights dying in brutal ways.

It's set up for the last episode to be 90% a fight against this OP version of Hendrickson and maybe the last part as an epilogue.

Wow, Elizabeth is sure powered up. Kind of suspected she was something special when Hendrickson went after her as his sacrifice but didn't expect her to be a druid. Wished we could see more of Elizabeth in action.

Just watched the last episode. I'm not surprised Elizabeth had powers that she couldn't tap into. Surprised Veronica is alive, but where's Griamor?

Oh snap it's Juubito! Ahaha. We finally get to see Elizabeth's other eye!! Was wondering if they were gonna keep that hidden forever or something. I'm glad the other princess is still alive, didn't want her to die.

But, I'm in complete agreement. Hawk was like my favorite character.

Not really surprised about Elizabeth, it's kind of a typical development for fantasy Princesses that seem useless at first.

A 2nd season is a given. The ending left no doubt that there will be more. It's just a question of when.

What I'm interested in is the past of Meliodas at Danafor and his first love, Liz. Is this covered in the manga or only hinted at like the anime?

Only hinted so far but we find out a bit more about his past if your planning to read the manga you should read from the start the anime did a good job but they still rushed through some bits that are very important.

I also felt bad for King this episode since is reluctant to kill his best friend again. While I don't like Ban for what he is doing this episode, I do like how he is able to save Jericho. The fights felt pretty fast but maintained the fierceness of the momentum. Hendrickson has become one tough bastard D: __________________

Immortality is a pretty ugly thing when in his position. Eternally cut off from the person he cares about most in the world. Immortality under those circumstances is just hell on earth. An offer like that is one he can't just ignore. Especially when you toss in Meliodas's connection to the demons. But not like he isn't conflicted, he has to kill the only other person he's really close to in the world to get what he wants. If Hawk or anyone else could actually kill him he'd probably welcome it since he might be able to see Elaine again that way, but they can't. No matter how much fun it is to be with everyone...that's just not enough. The last battle with Hendrickson should be pretty fun. That idiot has managed to get every person possible angry at him at the same time. Heck even Ban since he's been messing with the remains of the demon that killed Elaine. Time to see what the 7 Deadly Sins (minus a couple members) can do when they can focus all their efforts on crushing one enemy. __________________ Anime-Evo

And hey look, Hendrickson resorts to his demonic form so he really is like a freak of nature now. Good episode overall but I can't help but feel the upcoming finale battle will be rushed. This show also needs more Merlin tbh. Good to see Elizabeth's role become more prominent and also, poor Hawk! __________________

That brave little big is back although he was roosted a few episodes ago. Anyways, the fight didn't last long in the finale. I thought overall was done well to conclude this season. Nice to even see Merlin one last time after all that. 8/10. Perhaps we can get another season in a year or so when the manga gets more chapters published. There's still the OVA that will focus Ban soon though. __________________
