That's because usually haters are "noisier" than supporters but that doesn't necessarily mean they are more numerous.

Kaname is on my top list. He's cool headed and kind-hearted. I hope to see him more in their 2nd series.
I like both Rima and Shiki equally. I support this pairing if it exists.

I don't like Zero. He thinks he's cool and always right and others wrong. He's just a jerk.
I don't like Yuki. She's boring and stupid.

Are you referring to Zero? Funny, because I always figured Kaname has more haters than supporters, not Zero - so, I'm not surprised by the outcome of the poll.

I wonder how many Zero or Kaname supporters are manga readers or anime-only watchers? Because, as I see it, Zero is portrayed in a slightly better light in the anime (and his awesome seiyuu is a big bonus ). On the other hand, the two are almost equally portrayed in the manga (although some have told me they come to like Kaname (more) after reading the manga, and there's always the other way around) - although, on a bias note, I think Kaname is better portrayed in the manga than in the anime (but this coming from someone who hasn't finished watching the entire anime yet *runs and hide*)

I voted for Maria and the twins. I like Kaname too but, this is an anime poll (I also read the manga) and his VA makes me sick, he sounds too soft for being one of the most powerful vampires!

Zero: He's actually very caring.(Just look at the way he treats Yuuki)and I don't know....... I liked him from the very beginning. Maybe it's because he reminds me of Kyo from Fruits Basket...........I have a thing with guys who are suffering.......makes me wanna hug them<3

Ichijou: I think he's really nice. He's pretty much the only night class student who's nice to Yuuki(Besides Kaname) and Zero. The fact that he's nice to Zero makes me like him more. He's also usually very funny

Aido: I hate the fact that he hates Zero. But his hilarious actions usually pays off in the end for me ;D

The Chairman: Hello? Who wouldn't like this guy!? He's hilarious! Whenever he shows up in the manga/anime he's usually doing something funny



Now, Why I hate Kaname: In the beginning I liked him as well as Zero. But as the anime/manga progressed the more I started to hate him. He reminded me so much of Yuki from Fruits Basket that it sorta started to piss me off. He turned out to be some pretty boy who was born 'great'. He's just like Yuki(From Fruits basket) who would always talk down to Zero/Kyo. And another thing I hate about him is how he's been manipulating everyone from the start! Nothing he says can be trusted.

I always knew Zero had more supporters then haters, people like emo But I agree he's protrayed better in the anime and his voice has alot to do with that. I even found myself tilting my head slightly and almost sighing when he'd say "Yuuki" but then all was forgotten when he treated her bad

Also I figured Kaname always had more haters then supporters but I still like him and being a manipulative mastermind vampire doesnt bother me as much as a emo-manipulative-twofaced vampire But thats just me.

Also hasnt finished the anime

VK is one of the few anime where the lines of who peopl like is drawn very deep and Supporters and haters go to battle for their fav characters. It can be a good thing as long as its done well and people dont go over the top.
