Im so excited seem like its be forever since heard there would be a second season but im sure it will be well worth the wait. Plenty time to discuss things too since so many other series have ended as of late.

zomg I can't wait. Spring is shaping to be an exciting season indeed.

I hope it's better animated this season though. The first season was a bit of a downer animation-wise. Sure, it isn't the most dynamic of shows to require, say, Ghost in the Shell-level animation, but they could at least do better.

I'm also hoping for better quality animation. It was the only thing lacking in the first season that kept it from being truly great. There were so many times ( Like during the demon parade ) that I thought to myself "Wow, this is great. If only it was decently animated this would easily be the best anime of the year..."

I wasn't bothered by the animation in the first season, though I'd really like it if Kei airs in HD. Not sure if TBS does HD, or if other networks who do will be airing it too. Though, just being 16:9 will be enough... I hope to hell it is. 4:3 AR was the only gripe I had with the first season.

Hey everyone!

I'm a exchange student and i live in kansai, osaka, right now. of course i love manga and anime, and god how i love xxxholic and everything with clamp! it's just that... i saw that xxxholic season 2 will start airing today, but, is TBS avaible in Osaka? i can't find it in the newspaper! >_> shouldn't TBS be national? ^^;

is there any other airing date for the xxxholic anime in kansai, osaka, or some other way to see xxxholic anime s2? ^^; thanks for all help!


edit: it seems like MBS broadcasts it on this coming saturday instead, in osaka. can someone confirm this for me? ^^; my japanese sucks.

First episode covers about half of volume 07 of the manga, which is expected going by the screenshots posted on the official site. No complaining about the animation from me, because i loved what Production I.G. did with the first season.

I love Spring season. Kurenai, xxxholic, S.A. TV, and etc.. So many option for downloads.

P.S. A general comment to the XXXholic-fans who intend to post in this anime thread: Please do not spoil/hint without being asked even under spoiler tag. If one feels the need for showing off one's manga knowledge please do so in the designated thread in the manga section. I intend to watch this show and read the thread, so I'll be looking for people to spoil things unwarranted. And I'm pretty harsh with spoilers.

Awesome! Picked up pretty much where they left off, jumped right back into it. Anime!Kohane looks pretty good. I so missed Watanuki's facial expressions

Well, that explains why the website had such spoilerish pictures... For them to start on the spider/web/eyes thing on the 1st episode! Never expected that...

Nostalgic~ It's been quite a while since I've seen xxxHolic (anime-wise, recently read volume 11 though) and it's strange and tall character designs.
It's great to see and hear Watanuki and his reactions again too.

Anyways, great first episode, and looking forward to the rest of the anime too!
