Not a great epi but I did like the part where Alice and Oreld were talking about sheep XD I found that quite funny.

They're either not trying hard enough I think, or they just were forced to make some quick changes near the end.

Oreld: Just so you know, Alice-chan, that should it be believed that we are not going to make it out of here alive, I just want you to know that I want you to eat me.

Alice: No! Don't think like that! And, besides, even if it comes down to it, I don't think I can or want to eat a dead person anyway.

Oreld: ... But I'm not dead yet.

Alice: Huh?

Machs: ...

Alice: Oh, you son of a...

Actually, that wasnt really what we saw in the previous episodes, which makes it stick out like a sore thumb. Remember? Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill....

Unless one argues that Alice is having a eh.. positive effect on him in that department. I won't drop this series yet, but its sadly gone to the very end of my watching-priority order.

Didn't episode seven also show Orland opting for a strategic resolution (shooting the pillars of the parapet to flush out the snipers) instead of a bloodbath?

Ah, but he had decided on that before he went into 901 mode.

True, but he may have decided to trigger the avalanche before he went into lantern mode this time. We didn't see him eyeing up the mountain, but he did elect to stay behind...

Possible, possible. Tho more clues, or indication would have been appreciated, if only to keep in line with the last episodes.

I loved this episode felt like watching any war classics like Where Eagles Dare or Guns of Navarone . To me it was Alistair MacLean stamped all over it .. I esp loved the manner in which story of ep is narrated . I had wished along with Oreld , Bandit Leader had also survived , wishful thinking I know

Seriously, Alice was going to stab Oreld? And she can't drink alcohol cause she is a minor?
It was interesting to see that Oland wasn't a total zombie when the lantern is on though.

Some enjoyable moments in this episode but also some flaws on Gonzo's part, this is one of the only episodes that I felt actually had a distinctive filler feel to it. They overplayed Alice's personality and the bandits were pretty unbelievable but the cat food, sheep and blue lantern coolness made up for that.
