As much as I'd like for Arawn to express some lovey-dovey feelings for Riannon, I doubt that's what he's saying. It would be out of character for him, I fear. It does seem that we finally get some info about the little girl from the credits though. So that's nice.

An episode about Arthur being a manly idiot. Or something like that. It was less interesting than I expected it to be, but compared to the previous episode... you know...

What's with that bard... Just when I thought he was a serious character, he sexually harasses Epona or Ebola or something at the end while blushing...

Oboroboro Arthuro... For once, he gets surrounded by girls... Even if they were just going to help him put his arm back in place.

In the meantime, Riannon talks about the red star and Arawn tells her to listen to some voice that seems to be that girl in the ED... Just a mystery here... *yawn* Tired...

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I thought Arawn's conversation with Riannon on the balcony was cute. But how does Arawn know about the girl inside Riannon? Is it because of his spiritual link (for lack of a better term) to Riannon?

Arthur is an idiot for popping his arm just to even out a fight. But it's so typical of him so at least it makes sense for his character to do that. But I thought it was funny how all the girls were smiling as they were about to relocate his shoulder. They're all closet sadists, even Arthur's dear little sister.

Taliesin glomping of Epona at the end was so random. A few minutes ago he was all but ready to cut Arthur's head off but now they let him in the castle to go chase elves? He may be their ally now but I hope he doesn't start hitting on all the girls now that he has access to Avalon.

I'm sorry, but isn't the scene where Arthur gropes Morgan's breasts accidentally should have been here somewhere? As far as I know, even the PS3 version kept that scene (I'm 100% sure I've seen the same CG with ps3 graphics), so I would have thought they gonna animate that part too :/ .
I personally think it was quite funny, and it wasn't erotic enough to omit it completely. Additionally now it was kinda illogical seeing why Morgan was so enthusiastic to "cure" Arthur's shoulder back, since if I recall correctly (I'm not sure as I played it a while ago) in both games that was her way to revenge that "harassment". They aren't in such a bad terms with each other, that Morgan would enjoy causing pain to Arthur IMO.
There were other differences too, but Xizro hopefully going to detail it sometimes later.

(Taliesin sure had some weird faces O_o ). I liked the episode regardless, Pedo Bard was always a cool character IMO.

I'm starting to think that any and all fanservice is basically beyond the point now. The way it's going, it's just going to be awkward to put them in there. Also, this show just goes right along with the 'bad guys joining up with the good guys' stereotype every episode. By the end of this series, the group will end up with basically everyone the Gael tribe contacts with.

As an anime-only person, I took Morgan's enthusiasm as a side effect of her frequent attempts at defeating Arthur and claiming the First Warrior position. Sort of a payback for all the times she wasn't able to beat him. A little revenge on her part with the best of intentions as the excuse ... err, as the "reason", that is.

If the Gaels have any hope of beating the Empire, they'll need all the help they can get from other tribes. So I don't have a problem with this. To me, it's the only real chance they have of succeeding.

apart from manpower, i think they need supernatural power or magic to defeat the empire army, their weapon and armor are just too primitive compared to those fully armored empire soldiers

eps 13 is not bad but i feel it is a bit slow...

Anime - game (PS3) comparison time again...

As someone already pointed out, Arthur grabbed Morgan's breast to have her beat him to fight on even grounds (I personally think that scene was stupid, I'm glad they removed it).
Before accepting the duel, the group has to defeat Taliesin and his troops (i.e. a normal battle). And the "duel" is just one clashing of swords, after which Arthur automatically loses. Taliesin gets MUCH more insane at Arthur's behavior though.
Arawn gets REALLY worried when he understands what Arthur has done (it's Morgan that points it out, instead of Ogam).
The girl that is briefly seen in the Arawn - Riannon scene appears similarly but in earlier flashbacks.

I've been giving away less info than I could since quite a few things are tied to future events.

It could go either way based on what the anime said. Historically, it wasn't uncommon until very recently for high society / high ranking married couples to sleep in separate bedrooms. Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Phillip of England have separate bedrooms. At the Verseilles palace, the king and queen had separate bedrooms with a secret passageway that connected the two so that the king could come and go without his retainers knowing about the trysts. So there's really no way of knowing based on historical precedence or the anime if Arawn and Riannon sleep together through the night or not.

In the game (PC), Arawn sleeps alone. Riannon just like to come bug him at night, because, you know...

The game's largely focused on the harem aspect, so our sweet Riannon had to act like a whore.

So I guess that dialog implies such events are still happening in the anime, but for the sake of our sanctity, they aren't shown.

That's a very interesting interpretation. I hadn't thought of it that way. But since Riannon didn't seem surprised by his words, I suspect he was talking about literal visits rather than metaphoric ones.

I made the assumption before I saw the epi, after I saw that scene I thought, ok I was looking too far into it. Sucks I kinda wanted a whole nother, I visit you in your sleep kinda thing. GH withdrawl still? No of course not...
