While not as extreme as Acer's suggestion- I want to believe that it'll be a smokescreen and the real plot involves Gunha and the Number 6 in a way that would put them on the front cover.

Making all the Level 5s present and accounted for.

Prologue - the situation Ollerus in GREMLIN
Chapter 1 - everyday GREMLIN trying to dominate the world every night.
Chapter 2 - Hamazura picking jobs to buy a ring for Takitsubo.
Chapter 3 - Hamazura having the ring stolen by a criminal and joining forces the touman to retrieve the ring.
Chapter 4 - the battle to recover the smile Hamazura.
Epilogue - Takitsubo accepts the request and this creates a strange environment in ITEM, it is revealed that the criminal was the magician of GREMLIN named Loki and what he really wanted was the blood of Hamazura to analyzes it and find out the code of luck.

considering that we are talking about Kamachi, I think possibly something happen.

Hamazura has the code of luck? He's been pretty unlucky lately though with him turning more into a side character and being hospitalize with worse injuries than Touma. Maybe him being around Touma more has cause Imagine Breaker to negate his luck

Doesn't eveything you said just confirmed how lucky Hamazura is?

If not because of luck, he would be already dead after being thrown into those situation

Wait, I KNOW IT! It will be revealed in the future that Hamazura always has a power that Othinus want for her 100% chance.

Well true but I think his luck is less compared to before but on the upside to could mean some more development for him.

I don't actually mind it when Mikoto is involved. She's been around magic a lot. She's just too clueless to do anything. I also wouldn't mind Hamazura's involvement because he and Accelerator both know about magic. I mean why are you guys saying that Touma should do this all by himself with no level 5 espers helping. That's cruel

I would like to see Mikoto learn about magic so I actually want her involved. She had such a silly role last volume, she should actually do something impressive... She did something in volume 6... (her best scene yet)... she fought the magic side... so I think she could certainly help. I also want Kakine to help lol... I don't see why you guys don't want them involved... unless it's because you want to see all of the old magic side people we knew...

I don't know... I like the level 5's more than the magic side. It depends. I like Fiamma a lot and others from it... I want to see what happened with Tsuchimikado. I'm guessing he'll be involved.

BTW @Zaarael Thanks for the update. I appreciate it. It's nice to hear that NT 8 is coming out when I'm dead tired and also waiting for railgun s 13.

Yes, there should be lots of Hamazura. Only... I think something with Rikou might happen lol to foreshadow her becoming level 5...

If i remember the only head on battle is birdway vs cendrilon and touma vs saronia
