While trying to protect everyone from the golem, she got run through by its metallic tail which obliterated her heart and lungs then tossed her away. Satsuki dead and in a pool of blood is the first thing Rio and Sora see when they are hero summoned to Galarc's castle.

This is the first time I've posted, I have a theory about why Lina asks Rio to take Christina as his next familiar
The Dragon King existed a long time ago, so I think he met people who were important to him in the past and perhaps there was someone special whom he loved very much but did not want her to be subjected to God's rules and wanted her to be happy.
But the Divine War came and Ryo had to fulfill his duty and could not be everywhere at the same time. So the war made it kill that special person and when Ryo arrived at the place he regretted not making her familiar because she would be alive. His pain was so great that he left that world and was reincarnated in another place so that he would apply the rule that when he was transported or reborn in another place he would forget everything.
Lina knew all that and now it is possible that this tragedy will happen again because I think that Christina is the reincarnation of that person whom Ryo loved very much.

The anime's second season doesn't have a confirmed schedule yet, but I know it won't air on the summer season. HJ Bunko already has the animes of two other series prepared to air this summer, seirei's anime meanwhile hasn't even shown a trailer or teaser despite the next season being just a month away, so definitely it isn't coming anytime soon.

I believed HJ Bunko planned to air it this year, but the seasons keep passing and we have nothing, maybe picking up from the mess they made of the timeline at the end of the first season was harder than they expected, maybe they dared to make such a mess precisely because they weren't expecting a second season for such a low-budget project or there might be some other problem. The thing is that if by the end of August there isn't any trailer yet the anime shouldn't air in the fall season either.

Just be careful; JNC has the issue of not checking well enough for mistakes after using an AI to translate, so there are mistakes. Volume 24 was the one with least mistakes so far, but even if it had some.

To be more exact, rather than for fall 2024 both the season 2 and the volume 26 are scheduled for the first of October alongside a reprint of the 25 previous volumes, so the people who decides to pick up the series now has it whole available on the shelves then and there like they did the previous time too.
