too many to count. i tend to like the minor side characters.
male all of the Ouran boys (ouran host club) - especially Kyoya b/c i like the strong silent type (wat can i say?) Kyon (meloncholy of haruhi) - loved his cynicism, great lead overall Itsuki (TMoHS - same as kyon) - i loved his admirable character and i think he doesnt get enough credit Shigure (Fruits Basket) - hes a really loveable character despite the fact that hes kind of a pervert Tamahome (Fushigi Yugi - old school shojo) - reliable and all around nice guy, very prince charming, saving the day kind of guy Shaoran (Tsubasa/ CCS) - same as Tamahome (who cant love a guy like that? though it can get boring i guess) female Haruhi (Ouran) - she has this ability to understand people and connect with them even if she doesnt want to, a very witty character Haruhi (TMoHS) - headstrong, confident, great role model. hilarious character Yuki (TMoHS) - reliable and well informed, has a mysterious side only Kyon really understands, i like how shes portrayed in the anime cant stand the main leads in magical girl animes but still like to watch em anyway |

For males, it's either Hitaichiin Hikaru from Ouran, or Fye from Tsubasa Chronicles. For female, it's Nagato Yuki from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. Well, because she's an ALIEN!!

tenma-chan (SR): i love the pigtails. the only pigtails i like. accidental heroine hehe. funny and adorable and always herself. no pretensions whatsoever, just what i would like to be.
yoruichi (bleach): confident, smart, skillful and experienced urahara (bleach): like yoruichi he's confident, smart, skillful and experienced just 10x better. he's funny and goofy and doesn't lose his cool. dokuro-chan: one crazy angel. if all angels were like this, i don't know if i 'd still believe in heaven shigure (furuba): love his humour! love the voice! tomomasa (hakunakaru toki etc): oh i have a fondness for smooth-talking, smart, relaxed playful playboy types ran shuuei (saiunkoku): same as above naruto (naruto): well, actually i find him a bit stupid but he's so cute!!! he looks like a cat! with whiskers! kyouya (ouran): yes! bossy money whore! shi ryuuki (saiunkoku): kisses the girl he likes w/o any hesitation, unlike other guys... ruu (Daa! Daa! Daa!): so cute hotohori (fy) can't remember much form this old series but all i know is he's such a hunk! fujiwara no sai (HnG): so funny! he's like a small kid who won't eat if he didn't have his fill of I-Go ebichu (ebichu): don't ask i'll add more next time |

Tamaki Ouran Host Club - omg I just love him to death!
Kyon Suzumiya Haruhi - seriously one of the best anime characters ever, I great pair with Haruhi Byakuya Bleach - hot and has an awesome bankai Ryuuki Saiunkoku - kinda dimwitted and funny but overall a great emperor Fai Tsubasa Chron - loveable and Im still wanting a good backstory on him ^^ Kenshin RuroKen - sweet, funny, kind but dont piss him off, plus I love the red hair Vash Trigun - I like emo guys, what can I say Kakashi-sensei Naruto - Funny and pervy XD But Id still want him to be my sensei Just realized I dont have any girls in my list XD

It's a bit hard to draw the line between the great characters and those that were just fun or thrilling to watch...
Gonna try to keep it down to top-3 and just say: Hanajima Saki (Fruits Basket) Nagato Yuki (MoSH) Lan Fan (FMA manga-only)

Renton Thurston (Koukyoushi Hen: Eureka Seven) - Hes a bit of a whiner, but you still gotta love him. ^^ Gattsu (Berserk) - The most badass character I've seen, although its clear that hes not invincible. Pakk/Puckk (Berserk) An elf you have to love. ^^ Jaganshi Hiei (YūYū Hakusho) - For me, he really kept YūYū Hakusho alive, I mean his technique was just cool. The list could go on and on, but those are probably my favorites. |
