Seeing that flashback, I couldn't help but imagine an alternate scenario. The message comes in that his friend has to have sex within ten minutes. He then looks at him and says "I'm sorry man. I can't let you die. So just answer me one question. Do you want to be the banana, or the donut?"

Yeah, it looks like the movie had certain liberties, especially since these actors/actresses won't show skin (IIRC some of them were idols) so they had to modify things a bit. The order was most certainly not to have sex, that's for sure...

Also in there Nobuaki, Chiemi, and Orange haired guy were all childhood friends, which clearly they aren't in this. So with no draw for me left, I bid this show adieu.

Like, your girlfriend didn't make any indications that she was willing to do this, Nobuaki. You, however, clearly will do anything to avoid Naoya dying. This is a pretty simple equation.

This is too much! I was just considering the fact that the "punishment" wasn't specified and was debating on whether it's assumed to be death or not. Then that Kana girl just gets trolled by the king with a confession "punishment" ~ I lost it then & there. Someone can't possibly write that with a straight face.

I lost count how many times the name "Nami" was said this week lol
Unfortunately, I still can't feel much about the characters. The one that has my slight interest is that Ria girl. Perhaps she knows more about this King's Game than she's letting in on.

I'd be willing to bet that Ria's situation is a lot like Nobuaki's, ie: She's the only survivor of the last King's Game. Maybe each game runs until there's only one survivor left, and then a new game starts at wherever the survivor goes.

I´m truly surprised by Natsuko´s change, it happened all of the sudden, the only indication was Nobuaki saying her lips were cold but what is wrong with this girl!? One thing is to snap because of the game but this feels different, who hurt Natsuko so much that she created a fake persona to interact with others?. Nobuaki is traumatized by the previous King Game, what is Natsuko´s reason for being crazy?.

Since there is no prequel (anime) and this show doesn't specifically require the audience to have knowledge of the prequel (manga), everything you post above is spoilers.

I wonder if there is supernatural element, or psychosomatic manifestations causing things like bleeding out and blindness. None of the things that have happened so far couldn't be caused by the mind alone.

This is me as well. Ria is intriguing but Nami, dear god even I was hoping she was gonna die. And where did this sudden feeling for her come from Nobuaki, yeah I know he wanted to save her and he was lying to Chiemi on the phone but good god...

Also the logic of this anime makes no sense. You want to save everyone so I'm gonna kill myself

And how the blue hell did Nami become instantly blind? Again no logic at all.

Holy crap I remember dropping the manga right after Naoya and Chiemi's scene. Even though Naoyas a great friend, my stomach hurt when Chiemi came out of the room. The first thing I thought was why didn't Nobuaki just have sex with Naoya instead, and he made his girlfriend do it...
