Correct, apparently the main villain of the manga appears in the first episode.

It's a remake which follows manga.

Its a remake, the first episode actually takes place before Reole.

Oh and I just noticed that the series is spelled wrong on this thread

Its Fullmetal Alchemist, not Full Metal Alchemist.

I was going to point this out, but I didn't think I should get pedantic with a mod.

The whole one word "Fullmetal" and two word "Full Metal" is one of the things that helps me not mix up the titles of FMA and FMP (though both are entirely different shows).

I like the intro a lot more than I thought I would.

The pace works a lot better than I had imagined it would, albeit there's a crappy feed.

Yup, watching right now but... Much like attempting to watch Code Geass, it's almost pointless.
